If weigh-ins are Fri-Sun... does this mean we get a new challenge tomorrow?

Truly amazing!! You should be so so proud of yourself. I don't know you yet I am extremely proud of you!! How could I not be? I'm in awe of your dedication and your will to make such a change. It couldn't have been easy, but you did it!! :flowerforyou:

-Fruit smoothies - blend some fruits (berries are nice) with plain or vanilla low or no fat yoghurt -Chocolate fondue? (use dark choc, it's actually good for you (within reason!) and tasty for dipping) -finely chop apple or pear and mix it in with your porridge/cereal -drink fruit juice -apple puree is nice mixed with…

Yep, and what was said here. Enter how many portions your recipe is for and make sure you have each ingredient with the proper measurements. I've done a lot of my dinner/lunch meals with the recipe one as a lot of them somewhat repeat and then all I have to do is exchange a few ingredients and then it's there :) good luck!

First of all: CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's fantastic!! You're gonna have a little Dragon baby <3 hope you're not feeling too unwell with the 'morning' sickness :) And yes, I agree with the above poster, whatever you do, do NOT diet and try to lose weight!!! Saying that, it is NOT necessary to eat for two. While pregnant, eat…

Haha, your intentional typo actually made my toe nails curl!! I've been called a Grammar Nazi by several people. Wonder why? Feel free to add me to your imaginary friend list, I'm not afraid!! Although I find it distressing that you feel middle aged at 38!!!! Or maybe I'm just in denial... lol

Thanks for the reply! Well, I only really started tracking my exercise since Monday (never added them before really!) and for 5 days it's 1868 cals so 373.5 cals per day. 2273 cals net per day so? Sounds incredibly many!!!! I'm half afraid what would happen if I went from my 1500 per day to 1900 (+500 for nursing!) per day…

Okay, weighed in today and am at 174lbs. 1lb down from last week.
-
Right then, here goes: CW: 174 GW: 164 This'll be difficult... only lost 1lb this week, so will be tough to get to 2.5lbs!
-
Maybe there's a recycling facility? I doubt anyone would take mine... even for free lol as for the show... sometimes I think it does the men some good to see how well they have it in their own home. Most episodes I've seen ends up being a really lazy guy being forced to finally help out around the house!!!
-
Whoop! Finally in the Slytherin Common Room! Now... when I post my stats tomorrow, do I do that as a 'first' or should I post it with the loss from last weigh in? And how do we steal points from other houses  can we do that...? *whistle* Also, I hardly ever track my exercise properly on here, but suppose I'll do…

female, 34yrs old, 5'4 sw: 182 cw: 175 gw: 125 aiming at 1lb a week, but happy with more, just don't want to drop it all quickly only to put it back on...

This is a really interesting thread!!! MFP gave me 1500/day + 500 for exclusively breastfeeding. Checked out BMR calculator and it tells me my BMR is 1557.... timed the value for exercise (I started doing track sessions 2/week, zumba 1/week, pilates 1/week and go for 30-70 min walks almost every day) is coming up to over…

I find it difficult not to eat too much when I get extra calories for exercise. I find mfp is too generous for them and tend to not log exercise because of it. Also, if I've nothing to do I find myself grazing and snacking... in fairness, that's not very often what with having 4 kids, but evenings are a killer :/

Fridays are perfect!! My first challenge on here :D
-
I actually don't own scales! Well, I've the Wii balance board and that's quite accurate but I usually don't switch it on to weigh myself at the moment. I go for a weigh in every Friday morning (it's a 'biggest loser' comp, we each throw 2 quid into the pot and whoever lost the most after 12 weeks wins the money - only no…
-
Thanks!! I'll have a search! And no, doesn't bother me that you eat fish - so long I don't have to lol... :D
-
Surely there'd be more veggie mums out here...?
-
Apart from the carbs, fat and protein I also look at iron, not so much any of the rest as they always seem to be in and around the right values for me without having to make a big effort.

Just figured out how to post pics.. here's the hair - before it was dried by the hairdressers (this was a sponsored charity event for Irish Cancer society so I had little say in which colour as I took what the hairdresser had for me!) edited cos the pic link didn't seem to work! And apologies for the size... :( Gonna try…
-
I've no idea how to post pics, but mine's completely bright magenta right now. Did it for a charity thing and actually like it lol! Have to admit it was strange at first to walk about with such brightly coloured hair!
-
started here at 182 two weeks ago. currently at 175 goal is 125... :)
-
Ok, done! 100 each side, albeit with a tin of beans in each hand cos I've no weights!! Thanks for the challenge!!
-
Not a 'mini' challenge for me by any means, but I'll try it :) Don't have weights but I suppose a 500ml water bottle would do the trick? Do we have to report back here or just log it in our exercise log? Never done a challenge here before, so excuse the questions!
-
+1 but have fun deciding yourself what you'll have!! I've wanted my second tat for years now but either pregnancy/nursing or money were in the way! Hopefully soon!
-
How did you get on with the run today? Hope it went really well!!!! (or, is stil/will be going well, not sure where you are haha!)
-
Thanks so much guys!! Will definitely check out all the links and most definitely be back with questions that no doubt will arise!!! It is a 10k race - I'm doing it for charity (which one still to be confirmed) http://www.womensminimarathon.ie/ <-that's the one I signed up for. You can chose to walk it, but I signed up as…

I'm 34 with 4 kids (8, 3, 2 and 4months) - cw 179... gw 132... wouldn't mind a bit of support either :) Only here for less than 2 weeks so all new to me, and I really want my body back!!! [editing to add, I'm 5'4)

Brilliant! Think I'll make your recipe tonight for the fam!!! Thanks for that recipe! Btw... love your 'destructions' lol... ;P
