Totally works. I have my two smallest (2yr old girl and 6 month old boy) in the double buggy at least twice a week for a 7+km walk. I use Endomondo gps running/walking tracker, put it to 'walking' and it times and tracks me :) Pushing the double buggy and 'racing' myself really gets me to work up a sweat and the kids love…

Thank you!! Biggest reason for me to try this is because of my sore knee. Heard it's better for it as less impact somehow. Really need to read up on it a lot more. Great to hear positive replies! Will try the library and see would they have it.

Much bigger part of the diet for me (I'm vegetarian for 20 years now) would be pulses. Lentils & beans & tofu have a TON of protein and are healthy and yummy ;) You can also use quinoa or couscous to mix things up a bit.
