  • Have you heard of Turbo Fire or Turbo Jam? ChaLean Extreme is done by the same instructor but instead of being cardio it is a strength training and cardio program. you do 3 strength days with two cardio days and it has 3 phases for a total of 120 days.   • Update:: So I decided to listen to my body yesterday and take an extra non workout day. I am so glad I did I feel so much better today. Thank you all for your suggestions. It just goes to show that we need to try to be in tuned with our bodies and listen to them more.

  • I have read where so many feel to hungry the day after a heavy lifting day to go down to a lower calorie number. I know I am not doing NROLFW but I am famished on the days after I lift. I believe this is partly why so many just find an average and eat that every day.

  • Started my second week of the Lean phase yesterday. Will do a month of lean for life schedule and then will probably get the deluxe program and do another round. I am loving this program.
  • The EMTWL group does not advocate exercising more to eat more. We advocate eating more to sustain what you already do. Most of us only work out 5 days a week 3x strength training and 2, 20-30 minute HIIT workouts. So please don't talk about things that you know nothing about.

  • I agree not what I was expecting at all but, surprising enough I actually liked it. I like how my upper body is sore and how my stomach and sides feel worked even though I didn't get in a single ab work out last week. Really excited to see the results of this month. Do you like it?

  • LOL I suppose you are correct if I was a wimp I would have quite through the first workout and said screw it. :bigsmile: All the push ups were crazy today. Push up into a side plank, tricep push up break down, traveling push ups, army crawl. OMG my arms and shoulders feel like lead.

  • I drink GNC Wheybolic Amp 60 one scoop right after my work out and use a different protien shake for not work out days. This one has stuff in it that aids in recover and muscle strength. It is expensive but I only take one scoop instead of 3 (meant for big boys) so it lasts 2 months.…
