Ok so I haven't posted here yet but am so excited. When I started I weighed 127lbs and had a BF% of 36% I know that seems high but I was very squishy (I used both Fat2fit and a hand caliber both were with in a %). As of 2 weeks ago (at 30 days) I was up a pound after fluctuating up and down about 4lbs I finally leveled off…

@Burlesque12- Yes that number includes exercise as long as you gave yourself the correct activity level. So many people underestimate their activity level. Give it 3-4 weeks and if you don't notice any change go up another 100 calories because that means you still aren't eating enough.

You can friend me and and look at my pics in my profile I am not sure how to load them into a thread. I started 6 weeks ago and have only been doing this method and strength training. Before this though I had a bad metabolism due to not eating enough because I just didn't pay attention to what I ate and when I ate. I only…

If you are burning between 800-1000 calories in exercise a day then you need to calculate your TDEE using very active. Plus you shouldn't shoot for a 2lb weight loss a week because that will put you below your BMR each day. I can't see how eating 1865 calories and then burning 800 is healthy because it leaves you with a…

Put away your scale for a month. Take measurements before you start and pay close attention to how your clothes are fitting. I weight 128 and other than a flux in the first 3 weeks I have stayed the same in the past 6 weeks. I am 5'2 so 128 is technically the high end of my healthy weight level. When I started I though I…

I am doing Chalean Extreme by beach body. So there are quite a few programs out there. It really depends on what you are comfortable with are you willing to go at it alone, do you do better watching a video, or at a gym? I believe the Chalean Extreme, Cathe F., I think even Jillian Micheals has a strength training program…

Woohoo for the push-ups. I did Push circuit 2 and extreme abs today. Loving the increase in weights every week and the inches that keep coming off.
-
By the way this is the program that I am doing and having great results. I haven't lost weight but didn't need to but I have lost close to 9inches all over already and only 5 weeks into the 12 week program.

Don't worry about the program she was using just realize that she was using a weight training program that did 3 days heavy weights and 2 cardio days and lost 89lbs doing it. http://www.teambeachbody.com/connect/success/-/user-story/131868521

I wouldn't worry about the time you spend strength training just that once you are done you have fatigued the muscles. So if you do lets say 3 sets of 8-12 reps and your muscles are tired then you did great. I just keep leaning towards you are doing to much cardio. I know that you are training for a marathon so you need to…

High protein protein shake?

This is my suggestion you are doing a lot of cardio on your running days so honestly you don't need any more not even the 1/2 hr extra on lifting days. Next question how heavy are you lifting on your lifting days is it high weight low reps or high reps low weights. That will make a difference. You have to lift high weights…

Just my two sense here but you can over work out. I work out for 35-45 minutes for 5 -6 days a week 3 strength 2 cardio and 1 yoga day. If you are working out 4 days a week strength training plus 20 or more minutes of cardio on those days then add in an intense spinning class and staying very busy during the weekend when…

I believe that it is all determined by how hard you are willing to push yourself. If you are willing to fail between the reps she says then yes it is considered heavy lifting. I curl 15lbs and squat 40-501lbs ( 2x20lbs) though I could do more if I had a bar since my hands are so weak but from what i have been told that…

Just for a reference I have been eating 1800-2000 calories a day for about 6 weeks and I have bad days. This whole week I have felt yucky and like maybe I was eating to much or not enough or something we all have these days. The thing you have to do is give it time and commit. Tell yourself every morning that you are…

These things need to be taken into consideration 1. Did you eat to much sodium in the last couple of days? 2. Is your TOM near? 3. How much are you working out? 4. Did you just workout the last day or so using heavy weights? These are just a few of the things I ask my self daily. Yesterday felt like crap felt pudgy and my…

From what I understand reading through the forum you should be eating 2024 for a TDEE -20% cut or 2151 for a TDEE-15% cut. You eat this everyday no matter if it is a work out day or not. On work out days just make sure that your NET isn't below your BMR so for an example if you did a workout that burned more than 780…

Is Strong Lifts something you have to do at home? I don't have access to a gym live 45 minutes from any where LOL. Don't like the Wing Plan so much LOL

Soy based products can be very bad for women plus there is artificial sweeteners and so many other really bad things for you. I would do my research before even thinking about drinking this. http://www.davidmodderman.com/blog/index.php/weight-loss/body-by-vi-is-it-all-hype/

Thanks guys this gives me some amazing suggestions. One last thing what if I got a strap or something similiar and only used it after my hands started to feel like they can't do it on their own? So start my workout not using them and then when I feel like my hands are giving out but not the area I am working out use the…

No I haven't tried the 25 yet but my hands get extremely tired using the 20's. Have you used this type of thing before? I have tried gloves they don't help actually an actual glove is worse cause I fell like I have to squeeze harder. They look like they could be useful though I am not sure how they work by just looking at…

I work out at home and only have access to 2.5lbs plates and up. Thanks for your ideas though.

Thanks Karen for your advice I did that today and now my arms feel like jello again. LOL. I am still unable to go high enough I think for my lower body to feel it like it should. I fear this may be the issue through this whole month. My hands are very weak and holding 20lb weights is hard enough I think I could really up…

I am 5' 1" I weight 128lbs and even though this is high I am not over weight just was very squishy. I started weight training 5 weeks ago and eat between 1800 and 2000 calories a day I haven't gained or lost any weight but have lost many inches. My BMR is 1390 so I at the very least Net that but try to be at least a 100 or…

Out of curiosity I am doing Chalean Extreme which is a 5 day a week workout program 3 days are strength training where you go heavy enough to fatigue by the 12th rep it is about 45 minutes I love it. the other 2 days are pretty intense cardio days for about 45 minutes is this okay or should I really think about cutting out…

Yes you want to do less reps and heavier weights so if you can do 3 sets of 20 reps you aren't lifting heavy enough. Granted this is my opinion and what I have been taught.
