  • Pre-reduction(best thing I ever did!!!!), I had good results with Moving Comfort Fiona and Enell. The back or front hook ones are best. I think Shock Absorber also makes a good one, just look for one with a clasp. Who the heck designs bras for big busted women that you have to pull off like a shirt?! There's nothing more…
  • My downfall was a cruise too, Akimajuktuq!! In December last year. And when I returned, I took a huge nose dive medically and -besides the fact that I felt crappy from eating horrible food - I learned that I had chronic Lyme disease. Small little medical annoyances over the last few years seemed to have been compounded by…
  • That is my hardest time! I will often just make dinner at 4:30 pm as soon as I get home.
  • That salad sounds awesome.
  • I bought two cans a while ago and am scared to try them. Thanks for the ideas. I did see a pressure cooker bone broth recipe on Pinterest that called for sardines, and was thinking about trying that instead of eating them whole (gag!)
  • Gotta try making this. Immersion blenders aren't that terribly expensive (maybe $30). I use mine for a lot of things and the first time I ever tried making homemade mayo with it, it set up very nicely!
  • I would suggest more protein (deli turkey rolled around a piece of brie, hard-boiled egg) and healthy fats ( avocado, scramble an egg in coconut oil, etc.) I will also suggest some bloodwork from a doctor who is willing to talk about/ has knowlege of how nutrition affects the body (seems a lot don't!!). I see a doc who…
  • Great! I also need some diaries to peek. Always looking for good ideas!
  • Me. I tested positive 2008, but was diagnosed with another condition, which I've since been told was a misdiagnosis. Since then, I seem to have been playing whack-a-mole with annoying and scary health-related things. Tested positive again in January, and learned in March that I also have 2 co- infections, Anaplasmosis and…
  • Making this tomorrow! Thanks for the idea.
  • Interesting! My doctor, a cardiologist, is the one who steered me towards Primal...
  • Mmm...bumping...
  • Bump for later
  • I just bought a bottle of melatonin too. It seems that the older I get, the less sleep I can get. I have sometimes tried half a benadryl and sometimes 1 Tylenol PM, but neither is very effective and I'm dragging myself out of bed in the mornings.... I'm going to try the melatonin tonight.

  • What if the OP was really looking for honest advice? There's a lot of conflicting information out there. And a whole bunch of you gave sarcastic replies. Less than helpful.
  • Awesome!! You're looking good!
  • Love the ideas! I'm not a smoothie girl first thing in the morning so these different ideas are great!
  • I have a Sportline, not the best, but I compare it against my workout buddies and subtract 10% and I suppose I'm in the ballpark....
  • THANK YOU!! I'm not on here daily and I can't keep up with the boards most of the time, so even if it's been brought up before, it's useful to see it again.
  • Yes. Are you wearing a monitor that accurately tracks your calories? Don't go by the machine you are using in the gym.
  • I think I found mine at either Wegman's or Trader Joe's. Add them to overnight oatmeal and throw a spoonful into some green tea. They are tasteless, so you can add them to anything, really.

  • Me too!! I was so afraid I would do more damage and it took me an hour to finish, but I finished injury-free. Hell, I'm more sore from yard work today than the WD last weekend!!

  • I did VA last fall and MD last weekend. It was A LOT of fun and each course had its unique challenges. VA was a relatively flat course with about 7-8 obstacles and MD was hilly with 11 obstacles...so what I mean is check out the web site and get an idea ahead of time. All fitness levels/ages/ shapes/sizes run in these…

  • Hairspray use?? Not sure I believe that one; I am a spray queen and the only time I lost a significant amount fo hair was when I lost 50 lbs about two years ago. Turns out I was also anemic, so I got the Rx strength iron supplements. I also started taking spirulina, krill oil and astaxanthin. Not sure which helped the…
  • Me too!!! I don't have much luck with VS bras. My current faves are Lilyette and Bali....the back -smoothing ones. The Moving Comfort Maia is good for working out.

  • Oh my! *swoon* More, more, more!!
  • You look fabulous - great job!!
  • Protein and veggies look ok. I would suggest lowering your daily calorie intake as well. And possibly lowering your carbs? I always tend to do better when my carbs and sugar are under control.
