Add me! I need to lose about 75 or so and could use some motivation :)

So happy for you to take the first step! I'm just starting *again* so I hope this time works out for me. No, I know it will. I know it will work for you too!

Yep, being half Korean, I've had to deal with those types of comments from complete strangers when I went with my mom places. It's not really an insult to them... but it hurts us Westerners!

I am experiencing the same thing, but I have been trying to tell myself that when I am done, I won't regret it. I will just regret it if I DON'T do it.

I feel your pain, I have a cruise coming up after Thanksgiving and I am afraid I will go a little crazy. No MFP on the open waters! So, I have told myself I will enjoy myself, but no crazy Thanksgiving fill up before I go.

Congrats on your progress! That is really a great feeling to see your old pants look dumpy on your ;) As for your plateau, there are plenty of threads on here about how to break through them and they usually help most people. Feel free to add me, I'll be 26 in July so we are close in age!

Nursing school here and it is VERY hard to fit it all in between clinicals/studying/homework/lecture/working. I guess we can sleep when we're dead!

Oh how I love sushi.......

I have both and I don't think wii fit works very well, but it's better than nothing. Zumba for wii works, but you will only burn as many calories as you put the effort in. Go to this website www.zumbacalories.com to help gauge how many calories you would burn based on your intensity. I love Zumba for wii because it's fun…

It says 17, but I'm not sure how big they each are.

Excited :D

Wow, what a rude salesperson! When I sit down, my stomach and boobs are the same, but when I stand my stomach is smaller... Keeping in mind it wasn't like that 40lbs ago!

If I am working hard enough to sweat, I log it but usually underestimate the time put in. For instance, if I am deep cleaning the house and I am cleaning for 3-4 hours, I will only log moderate cleaning for maybe 2 hours to account for small breaks or walking around to fetch things. But you definitely burn calories…

I can't promise I make the healthiest of choices every day (Lucky Charms for breakfast today...) But I sure as hell try. Glad to meet you and looking forward to a fun group. You'll find that motivating others will help you motivate yourself! :)

Go to the hospital and have an IV inserted. Then you won't have to worry about drinking that pesky water!

The most percentage of their body weight? Because I could drop lbs faster than someone half my size. If so, that might be fun :)

Going to be graduating in May but already work at the hospital as a Nurse Intern (glorified CNA). I find that, yes, I am too busy to eat while working but sometimes the only thing you CAN grab is bad bad bad! I try to pick healthy stuff in the cafeteria, which is thankfully pretty easy thanks to their Healthy Employee…

Oooh they are sooo nice... Splurge on one that is like 2 hours long. INSANE!

First of all: WTF I'M SO JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay........ Second of all: Sashimi is good calorie-wise, but it kind of takes a lot to get full off of tiny pieces of raw fish. Plus all that mercury... But if it can fill you up, just tell the chef to slice you up whatever is the special of the day. I love…

My upper arms, they are disproportionately large for my body! It's not fair :(

I remember years ago I went to an amusement park wearing a pair of shorts because it's Florida and it's HOT. On one of the rides I got a little wet, but thought nothing of it. If anything I was grateful for a break from the blistering sun. Well, then we started walking. A lot. And OMG my inner thighs were rubbing, plus my…

Forgot to mention, ARE you going by what MFP is saying your exercises are worth? They drastically overdo it with some exercises. I would invest in a heart rate monitor or try and keep track of your average heart rate and plug it into an online calculator such as this one:…

Start tracking your sodium and sugar intake. These are silent diet killers! Too much sodium can make you bloated and retain more water and too much sugar can slow your metabolism down. In addition, try to only eat back half of your exercise calories instead of the full amount until you start to see some weight loss, then…

Okay, here goes: Current Weight (9/10): 242.6 Weight lost since last week: -6.2 pounds! :) Calories burned since last week: Not sure, haven't been logging it, which is dumb Nutrition goal met? YEs, I've been trying pretty hard. I did have one cheat day a week though. How many miles did you travel this past week: Not sure…

Haven't had a chance to measure (too many nursing exams/assignments) but I am down 5.2 pounds!!! Yay!!!

See if they have a Kanisu roll. It's imitation crab, carrots, roe, or whatever other veggies they happen to use all wrapped up in thin cucumber slices. No rice. Topped with rice vinegar. DELICIOUS! (to me anyway but I loooove all sushi )
-
I have been a super slacker and down... I will do it this coming week though. I have to! Maybe I need a pick me up :(
-
oh my gosh, thank you! You have made this girl very happy :)

Check your inbox, I just sent you a monster reply lol. I forgot to mention that don't expect it to kick in quickly. It can take up to 3-4 months to really get the full effects of the medicine. You won't see anything for at LEAST one month. Be patient but it will help!

I graduated and couldn't find a job for about 5 months. I even got my K-6 teaching certificate to try and broaden my horizons and try to get into the school system as a substitute teacher. No dice. I eventually had to take a $9 an hour just to get SOMETHING. I got a 3 dollar raise within 2 months, but that's still not…
