The first that comes to mind is walking. There are tons of work out videos on Youtube. Body weight exercises - push ups, squats, planks. If you have limitations - google is a great place to search "exercises for women with _________________". Good luck!

You are in the right place to learn and make a change in your life!! Welcome!!! I'm going to send you a friend request - would love to cheer you on! Make small sustainable changes....not all at once!....and be ready for the long haul. Set small goals so the end goal is not so overwhelming. You can do this!!

Perhaps google 'weight loss journal prompts' - you should get results that offer things for you to think about in regards to triggers, goals, situations.

One of my favorite lunches is what I call Mexican Soup. I brown a pound of ground turkey, add a large can of rotel tomatoes, two or three yellow squash and two or three zucchini. Sometimes I'll add a hot pepper to add a little more spice. It makes five work lunches. Of course - you can add any other veggies that you like,…

I'm going to check out that app!!

I am going to get up to make copies as I go instead of waiting to do them all at once. It may not be as efficient but it will get me up and down a lot more during the day.

I sit most of the day...in a very small office! (Walking to the printer a couple of steps, to the restroom - a handful.) Today I tried to remember to get up at least once per hour but that fizzled as I got caught up in my work. Tomorrow we will try again!! I know I sit a lot in the evening - social media and watching tv.…

I'm going to try it again this year. Last year I started off and got side tracked. This year (as they say) - I'm in it to win it!

Don't try to change everything at once. That becomes overwhelming and frustrating. Get used to logging your food. (All of it! :) ) Then start making changes. When one things becomes a habit - choose the next. Read the forums - you'll learn so much! Make (add) friends - they will really make the difference. They celebrate…

Congratulations!! Tremendous accomplishment....hopefully someday I will see a '1'. Great job!

This has got to be one of the best things I have read! Mostly this: We ask God for strength, but God already gave us strength. We ask God for wisdom, but God already gave us wisdom. We ask God for healing, but He has already healed us. Don't waste your time asking for things that are already yours, that you have already…

I am almost a year in and have lost 30 of the 160 needed. If I allow it - I will be discouraged that I have 'only' lost 30 pounds. Especially when I see others who have lost so much more. BUT this is not a competition. This is about me getting healthy and reclaiming my life! Several things that I consider: first of all -…

Great job!!!
