I follow a food plan with set calories and macros, so I’m already eating at the low end of my calorie range. My protein macro is set pretty high, so to follow my plan effectively I already make all kinds of substitutions. I don’t drink anything but water, sparkling water, herbal tea and decaf coffee. No sweeteners, not…

I read an article from MFP summer 2023. I was looking for a free support system and group of like minded people.
-
Could you share the title of the book?
-
My exercise plan is to continue strength training and cardio, increasing slowly but steadily with intensity and duration. I"ll also work on balance and flexibility.
-
My meal plan will be to follow macros I've set on MFP based on advice from my nutritionist.

Goals for Winter challenge:* Track my macros and stay on my plan * Focus on getting more NEAT * Limit my work hours * Steadily increase my exercise - both amount and intensity * Get enough sleep and be consistent with my bedtime routine * Drink enough water
-
My focus this year is going to be tracking daily, exercising enthusiastically and eating healthfully.

@Tabatha_Cain It sounds like you already eat mostly whole foods. Venison especially - it's super lean. Good luck figuring out the changes you need to make.
-
@Tabatha_Cain Thanks for posting the information they gave you at the center. It seems like a lot of good advice. I would say if you have to drink one of your meals to stay within your macros that you might look at your other meals and work on finding ways to shave off some calories. Eating whole foods will fill you up a…

@Sand_TIger I tried all sorts of 'work out from home' things to build muscle, but I just couldn't hit my groove with anything. I've been a gym member most of my life, but had dropped it at the beginning of the pandemic. Bad choice for me - up 50 pounds in 3 years. Some of the things I tried at home - dumb bells, several…

Good evening everyone! Today was just a wonderful day. My oldest son had his second child, a baby boy this afternoon. Everyone is doing great, and big sister, 2.5, is very excited.

I am ready.
-
I've made my appointment for the challenge, also for exercise.
-
On my calendar, but I try to sign on multiple times a day to track my food.
-
I have a few rules in place that help me with mindless and emotional eating. 1. I don't eat in front of screens. This is where 'robot arm' kicks in for me and I'll just eat and watch, eat and watch... 2. I always plate my food. 3. I track everything I eat.

My exercise plan: 5 day strength training split, M, T, W, F, Sat plus warm up and cool down 3 days Peloton rides Meet my step goal

For my food plan I'm tracking macros. I also get at least 64 ounces of water every day, get a minimum of 5 servings of freggies and try to eat mostly whole foods.

Pre-Challenge Activity #2: SET SOME GOALS! My ultimate goal is to lose weight and get healthier. To do that I'm going to focus on habits that I can control. #1 Track my food daily and stay within my calorie range. #2 Continue building my exercise routine - strength training and peloton riding. #3 Start tracking my steps…

Pre-Challenge Activity #1: INFORMATION and YOUR INPUT This is my second 5% challenge. During the first challenge I didn't lose any weight, but I established a lot of good habits that I think will set me up for success. I'm now getting to the gym regularly, I've signed into MyFitnessPal and logged my breakfast every day for…
