Make sure you weigh everything you eat... and I underestimate my calorie burn and over estimate my food intake when I cannot weigh it..... I have been shedding about one pound per week fairly consistently on 1200 calories...I only eat back part of my exercise calories as well.

I am ignoring reading all the thread of the politically/humane correctness of the product and answering the OP question of how to control her consumption. I would eat it as an accompanment to my main meal. OR eat my main meal first. then wait 20 minutes drink two glasses of water, and eat the fois gras as an after meal…

Get some professional help! You are in crisis and a few comments from MFP'ers is not what you need now. Speak to doctor, counselor at school, SOMEONE with expertise..... We are rooting for you, but you have to make a clear choice here to get the help you need.

A few days will not mess up your metabolism. Try to feed your body something, and hydrate well. When you feel able to eat again.. try the BRAT diet Bananas Rice Apples Toast (crackers) Mild on tummy and gets the digestive track back in working order.

My husband is a musician and so I get what you are saying. He is also a chef and generally eats healthy, well balanced meals.. but after a gig- his body craves JUNK!!! He would eat spaghettios... boxed mac and cheese, greasy burgers... anything fattening and filling....... but he probably burned 1000 calories playing too…

Order whatever you want and eat half. Take the rest with you or leave it. I would not feel weird or guilty or whatever.. if you had allergies then it would be acceptable to order whatever... so tell everyone you are allergic to being fat!

I am a little O.C.D. so I use six sheets of double ply for number one.... folded over on itself.... I use 12 sheets for number two.... folded over on itself as well... then I use cottonelle wipes!!! Two folded over.....

I can read people really well.. Unfortunately, that means I have very few friends...I can read when they are not being honest and truthful with me, and so I don't keep them long.... Significant Other is a chef and drummer.....

Eat less Move more Calories in calories out depending on whiich is more and which is less will dictate whether you gain, lose, or maintain!

I weigh every morning after I pee. But I only record it if it is the same for two consecutive days (within a few ounces) . I am the mom to an army soldier and to a Marine. While I worry about them all the time, I am proud of them beyond belief. Do what your heart is telling you, the rest will follow. If you can pass the PT and you are dedicated to what you want to do, you should have no problem getting through bootcamp.

If I find conflicting calorie amounts on something, I just take the higher one. But generally I will calculate the calories myself based on raw ingredients!

As long as you are consistent. I don't think it matters. Either count 24 hours from 12:00 A.M. to 11:59 P.M. Or count sleep cycle to sleep cycle...

Sorry about your loss. I recently lost a pet cat of almost 15 years. Even though you have a loss of appetite try to eat for nutrional reasons. Take care of yourself. Be well soon!
