I agree with Grumpy - BMI isn't everything. I am 5'7" and I weigh 118. I am at the low end of "normal" BMI, but definitely don't look too thin. I work out, have good muscle tone and, I feel GREAT. I have a pretty small bone structure, so I take that into account too. Some women at 5'7" and my weight would look too thin. It…

That is fantastic! Congratulations - keep up the great work!

I've never been much of a sleeper and found that when I started exercising I need less sleep. I usually go to bed by 10:30 or 11:00 and I'm up at 3:30 to go to the gym. I don't mind it.

I just stumbled across this post. I did my first plank ever on Wednesday (although I don't know how long I held it). I'm sorry I didn't see this a month ago, although I'm going to print out your calendar and start tomorrow AM. Thanks.

I'm 5'7" and while I don't have any pictures, I've lost 60 pounds from my highest weight and I am now maintaining. Best of luck! You can totally do this!!

WOW!!!! Awesome progress!

I never drink plain water. Hate it. Won't ever drink it. If I'm thirsty, I drink unsweetened iced tea or Sparkling Ice.

Congratulations on your first day! I am totally addicted to logging - it definitely makes is easier to know exactly how much more you can have. I always go over on protein - protein fills you up for a longer period. As for the scale - I am also addicted to the scale. Some will say that weighing daily is not good, but for…

I work out in a fasting state only because I work out from 4 AM - 5 AM and I can't bear the thought of eating between 3 and 3:30. I don't think it really matters if it's before or after - as long as you get the workout in.

Fantastic! The biggest thing I've learned in my 460+ days on MFP is "everything in moderation". Nothing should be off limits. Great job!

I have no problem with PF. I've been going for about a year. I work out from 4 AM - 5 AM when it's really quiet. They have plenty of cardio machines and enough weights to make me happy. The early morning trainer is awesome and the group of 7-10 people who are there at that hour are great. Never heard a judgmental word or a…

I LOVE skinny cow desserts. They are yummy and won't break the calorie bank.

I'm a mom to 2 and work FT outside the home. I'm down about 57 pounds from my highest and will never look back. I work out uber early before anyone is up because I found that once I got home from work, there were always a million things to do. The hardest part for me is not nibbling on the kids left-overs - the mac and…

Here are my thoughts, for what it's worth. I'm 5'7" and I'm 49 years old. In the last year, I've lost about 30 pounds. My weight fluctuates between 120 and 122. Ideally, I would probably be about 130 or so. I think I set my goal a bit too low and got a bit carried away with the loss. Even if you did want to get to 120,…

I don't count it either, but I often leave over 100 - 200 calories/day to cover those things.

Like almost every topic on this board, you will find people who love it and those that don't. Personally, I love my Fitbit Flex. I like counting my steps and like knowing how many I have until I reach my goal for the day. It really depends on they type of exercise that you do. IT works well for treadmill, arc trainer,…

It's a personal choice. I have friends who have a cheat meal every week (up to 4000 cal or so) and do fine. Personally, I find that a cheat meal sets off bad habits in me. I don't set aside a day to specifically cheat - if I want something, I have it and try to work it into my macros.

Even at my heaviest (about 60 pounds higher than I am now) I was just a B cup. Unfortunately, I've dwindled down to a small A. Not much you can do about it. Sigh........

You are an amazing inspiration! Congratulations!

Don't think it really matters. I prefer to do cardio first.....then weights.
