There are so many variables. I am 5'7" and I weigh 120. My jeans are a size 0 and my work pants are a 2. Some brands run small and I have to go up to a 4. Really depends.

I don't necessarily see myself as fat, but more out of shape. I see jiggles, which I know is some skin and loss of muscle tone (which I'm working on). Either way, I don't like looking in the mirror, but that's just me.

OMG, I just had my first Cookies and Cream bar and it is by far my FAVORITE flavor!!

This looks to be about 1100 calories/day. But, in order to repair, you need more than that and you need more protein. I also recommend a nutritionist. Good luck.

Congratulations! You look fantastic!

The only food that I truly fear now is trail mix. It's the only food that I am unable to just eat just one servicn of. I will go through 1000 calories if you let me. Trail mix is now a no-no for me.

I don't log them.......but I try to leave myself at least 100 calories for the "BLT's"......just in case.

What a beautiful story. Can't wait to see your progress. You got this!!!

There is a Fitbit Users Group with complete instructions. Here's the link http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/1307-fitbit-users

Yes. I started working out after I lost my weight. Now I am toning things up. In retrospect, I would have worked out all along. I kind of feel like I am starting from square 1. Had I been doing it all along, I would be so much further along.

I'm 5'7" with a small frame. I'm currently at 121. Probably should gain around 5 pounds or so.

OMG, you look AMAZING!!! Congratulations! You are so inspiring!

Sleep. I now get up at 3:30 AM and I'm at the gym at 4. It's the only time I could find.
-
Not a huge breakfast fan here either. I usually have just a dannon light and fit greek yogurt at about 10 AM.

I think you will find that there are people on MFP who love their HRM's and those that love their Fitbit's. I happen to be a Fitbit lover, but I think that either one will work well.

There are lots of us nurses here!! I've been a nurse for many years and it's a great profession! I bring lunch and snacks that I prepare at home so I don't have to go to the hospital cafeteria - which surprisignly has limited healthy options. I also pre-log everything I bring with me. That way, I don't have to stop and…

Another Flex lover here!! I've had mine for about 6 months and I love the motivation that it affords me. It sounds crazy, but I love the little vibration on my wrist when I reach my gstep oal for the day. Also, I get up at 3:30 AM to head to the gym. The alarm is great because it wakes me up (with a wrist vibration)…

I also try to plan on the weekends so all we have to do is heat stuff up. We will sometimes stop at Subway, which has some great healthy options.

Sounds amazing. Thanks!

WOW!! You look fantastic!! Congratulations!

I'm also 5'7" and I started my journey at 178 pounds. I log everything I eat or drink that has calories (except for the splash of whole milk I put in my coffee). I've never been successful with sustained weight loss until I started logging. As a matter of fact, today is my 1-year anniversary on MFP and it's the only time…

Mine is closing at 4 pm on the 24th and 31st and closed on the 25th and 1st. Other than that, it's business as usual.

Yes - doesn't matter if I am under or over. "Never stop logging"

Every day here too. I like to know where I am. But, I only log my weight on Tuesday and Friday.

I'm also leaving in 2 days for a 14-day Florida vacation!! We go there twice a year and I've learned how to manage my calories. I found that MFP has lots of restaurant info loaded in, so many of my meals are already in there. Also, since it's Florida in December, we do a lot of outdoor activities, so I am on the move all…

Well, I am really boring because I eat the same thing every day for lunch. But, it works for me. I eat chicken breast, raw mini carrots and grape tomatoes. Sometimes, I will have a mini babybel too.

Depends on what I am craving. Usually I have a weight watchers ice cream cup. If I am looking for something crunchy, I usually tun to Boom Chicka Pop - at only 35 calories/cup!!

What an amazing (and inspiring) story. Thank you so much for sharing. You should be incredibly proud!

I struggle with this issue quite a bit. I have an overweight 12 year old daughter and an underweight 10 year old son. While I pack healthy lunches and cook healthy dinners, my husband gives in to the unhealthy afternoon snacks. He is a stay at home dad and keeps buying the garbage for snacks. He and I had a heart to heart…

I weigh every day, but log just on Tuesday and Friday.
