Yes!!! I would definitely look at upping to 1600. Even if only for a couple days. Your body will hold onto everything it can if it thinks it's starving!! If it is starving, it will start eating muscle, which will hurt your metabolism even more.

bwahahahahaha I love it. I wish I could say everything I knew about sugar made me not love oreos and cake. But it doesn't. :)

I use Shakeology most mornings in order to eat something. I truly believe a shake is not necessary. I use one out of convenience and to help me have something healthier than mcdonalds or subway on the road. I'm an auditor and I'm on the road a lot.

I try to eat something with protein before bed. My trainer recommended cottage cheese (gross) but I try to eat something about 9pm. I'm also a night exerciser, so that may be why he recommended eating later.

I'm starting week 5 and I'm down 7" total- I don't have updated pics yet as I only want to do them as before and after. I love this program. Anyone that wants to add me as it's what I'm doing currently, feel free =]

Glad I found this <3 I'm hypo since I had my thyroid removed when I was 6? first grade. Really young. It was removed due to a goiter on my neck- I don't *really* understand everything that was going on at that time since I was so young. I'm on Levothyroxin and have about 30 lbs to lose. HW: 199.8 (not on MFP) CW: 174.8 GW:…

I definitely believe in the health benefits of juicing. I do it often. But not as a fast or a cleanse. I think both options require more medical support than I'm willing to use. If you do it- please check in with medical professionals often.

You can definitely stick with it =] It's just a matter of will power.

Calories are hard for me. But if you're doing P90X you definitely need to be eating enough. "starvation mode" is different for each person- 1200 is a guideline, however if you're eating less than your RMR you could be putting your body into starvation mode. Do before and after pictures- it *helps*.

Glad you're back. Keep us updated with your surgery. Good luck!

AH yes! I totally don't have a success story- well not what you're looking for. I'm down about 20 lbs in 3 years. Been lower but 20 lbs off my highest and wanting to lose about 30 more. I had my thyroid removed. And I keep thinking that my levels are wrong- but each time they're checked they're normal. I feel like I have a…
