Everyone is pretty much hitting it right on - increase water, decrease caffeine, and make sure you have enough potassium.

My name is Sarah. I'm 31 and weigh in at 187. I've lost 50 pounds so far and have been stuck in a sludge for a few months. During 2013 I want to hit my original goal weight (about 28 pounds to go). Although I will be resetting a goal after I hit that one, these mini challenges will help us get to the next step! My mini…

Count me in! I'm less than 28 pounds away from my original goal (which will be adjusted) and I'd like a boost to hit it.

I use skinnytaste.com and hungrygirl.com... Both excellent options!

I am 190 and wearing a size 12/14 with large tops. I'm heavier on top than bottom...

I am so happy for you guys! That's really inspiring and has given me additional motivation to keep striving towards my goal. You look great!

People started noticing around 15 pounds because my face was starting to slim but I didnt really get the "wow" comments until around the 25 pound marker. Today, I got whistled at by a coworker. LOL!

Absolutely! Most of mine are pretty personal but the one I will share is that I found out I have a non-cancerous tumor on my leg bone. The doctor said the more weight I lose, it's more than likely that others may appear. Very strange....

Hi! I am 5'3' (not much taller than you, LOL) but have a similar story. I was 238 at the beginning of this journey and now am 194. I'm far from my goal too. My original goal was 165 but I am going to lower that to 145 once I hit 150. Feel free to send me a friend request. I'm always looking for someone new to add so we can…

I'm glad you found MFP... Some things you will want to know: 1- This site changes lives! 2- Your "pals" will hold you accountable for your days you struggle. Be prepared for that and also to provide them support. 3 - You are not alone in this journey. Whenever you feel weak, reach out and there is always a friend there to…

One word for you.... WOW. Congrats on the weight loss and the new adventure into running. I too, recently started running but didn't instantly fall in love with it. I can tell you that it's growing on me and I find the more that I do it, the more I like it. I started 5k's this summer with a fantastic group of friends and I…

GREAT results! Keep it up!

Yes, this is very possible. I've been on this journey (fully committed) since February and I've lost 35 pounds. Some months I lose 5+ pounds and others it's slower depending on the type of exercise I'm doing and the kind of food I'm feeding into my body. Just remember to keep focused, stay closely knit with MFP so you can…

GIRL!!! I love your story and your honesty. You look amazing and more importantly you feel it. Congrats!

I haven't read through the responses to this topic but I have to be honest on this one. When I first started MFP, I did not log on the weekends due to computer issues but I would log in my information on Monday's. I didn't see an issue with this at the time but after logging in every day, I know that it's necessary just…

That is fantastic! Congratulations!!

Hey there...I also lost 40 pounds on WW about 4 years ago but since then I've had another child. I tried WW with the new system and didnt move hardly anywhere and I got frustrated. My friends brought me on to MFP and I've been doing it since March. It's been a huge success for me. Good luck to you. BTW, "today is the first…

Last weigh in: 213.8 Today: 211.8 I'm down 2 pounds and loving it!! My goals this week are to continue to watch my intake and burn over 1000 calories at least two days. This weekend I am going to a womens retreat for church so keeping track of my intake will be key!

Hi Amy! I am sitting there is the same boat with you. I am thrilled to soon be a part of the 100 club! My suggestion would be to make mini goals.... To fit into those jeans, be able to wear shorts comfortably, hit the 10 pound marker, etc. That's what works for me.

Last weigh in: 215.6 Current weigh in: 213.8 Goals for this week - Maintain 1200 cals a day, decrease carbs, add in two bike rides during the week.

Hi... I struggle with migraines so I understand your frustration in this area. Sometimes cutting out too much or going cold turkey can trigger headaches. Even adding foods into your diet you arent used to that have MSG in them can increase your risk. I would survey what you've introduced to your diet vs. what's been taken…

Happy Easter weekend to everyone out there. I know we're all a bit nervous about what foods to eat on the table. I'll be mindful of portion sizes for sure.

Hi! As many of the other postings stated, definately work with your MD on an elimination diet. I too suffer from IBS. My main trigger foods are corn, lettuce, and anything that's greasy. I'm lucky enough not to have milk as one of them. I know how painful it can be so I'd recommend working on it sooner than later. Good…
