I saw these at Stop and Shop last night. I didn't buy them because I couldn't trust myself not to eat the whole bag. I really wanted to try one. Really, just one...

Same here! My third is totally giving us a run for our money, but she is also the funniest thing. My husband had to convince me to have a third and while it would have been easier to stick with two, I can't imagine life with her. Also, I love that there will be more of them together as they grow up.

I've read some pretty judgmental things on these boards so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the responses I received and the fact that people jump on one thing without reading more. I was an overweight kid and became an overweight adult without anyone telling me that I should be eating healthier or exercising more. I…

I'm 5'5 at about 155 and very comfortable in an 8, some brands a 6 (but it's a little snug). My goal was to get below 140, but since I've been more serious about lifting, my weight has gone up a bit, but it hasn't impacted my size. Yet. Hoping for more 6's in my future.

Thanks for the responses. For the record, I have not expressed any concerns to her, she noticed this morning at urgent care (ear infection) that her weight was a lot higher than she thought it was, and I am trying to find the right mechanism to give her the knowledge and help her feel healthier and more confident. I am not…

We haven't gone for check up recently, but I know that she's gained about 10 pounds since last summer. I'm not looking for her to be on a diet, I really just want her to understand how people gain and lose weight and give her the knowledge as she grows, so she doesn't wind up spending her adulthood trying to lose it. I'm…

Has anyone seen these bowls anywhere? I really like the Gardein stuff and this looks like a good work option.

Thanks for the insight!

I think "lentils" might actually be the generic term for candy coated chocolates. I think if they were advertised as "chocolate covered lentils" then they might be what the PP was thinking, but I'm pretty sure "chocolate lentils" are just chocolate.

The same thing happened to me this weekend! My husband pulled out an old photo album from 2001, pre-kids, when I probably should have looked my best and I can't get over how much bigger I was back then. Three kids later, I look better at almost 40 than I did at 22! What a boost!

Someone had posted a Jackfruit thread and I was intrigued, so I tried this: The bowl was pretty good. Nice teriyaki flavor and filled me up very quickly. I'm not really sold on the jackfruit as meat substitute, some of the pieces were a little hard, but the rice and veggies cooked well in the microwave. Also, for you…

Sounds like quite an experience! Maybe a jar of PB2 powder - lower cals than actual PB and might last you longer. As far as exercises, mountain climbers are great and will get your heart rate up and should be okay stability wise, keeping your hands on the floor. Jerky is a excellent idea and packs flat.

Breakstones 2% LivActive, but only the single serving cup version. I swear the consistency is different!

I just finished this last night, it was so good! The ice cream was super creamy right out the freezer and the cookie pieces were plentiful and yummy. I wasn't sure whether I'd like it, I usually only go for chocolate, but I figured I'd take one for the team and post my review.

I have a different brand, but a similar product. I wouldn't count it as intentional exercise, rather as a way to increase your NEAT. If you're using it while doing work, you're not likely to raise your heart rate enough anyway.

I love reading this thread and it makes me giggle that the ads that show up on the bottom of my screen when I read the new posts are for "Delicious Cake Recipes" with pictures of cake! Might as well be part of the thread. Happy Holidays everyone!

Yesterday, I did a 5K Turkey Trot (in 18 degree weather) and PR'd! Then I only had two bites of the cinnamon buns they gave out post-race. I took a Zumba class with my MIL about an hour later and felt great. I hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 25, ate everything I wanted and avoided a food coma. I ended the day feeling pretty…

I make quinoa that I mix with roasted butternut squash, dried cranberries and pecans (glazed or not). It looks really pretty too.

OMG! My Shoprite finally got new flavors! Enlightened and B&J. Been dying for the glazed donut - got 2 of those. Might be dinner tonight!!

I love these!!! I currently have 3 boxes in my freezer (already finished one). The pumpkin ice cream isn't overwhelming and the cones are yummy. These are a total 10/10 for me. I look forward to them every year!

They were sampling them at my local TJs last week. They were decent. Good chocolate flavor, reminiscent of something else that I couldn't quite identify. I bet the milk would taste really good afterwards. Always my favorite part of chocolate cereal!

I ran my first 10K yesterday! I finished toward the back to the pack, but I did it and I felt great when I finished!

I have one under my desk at work. It has become a footrest. You have to pedal pretty hard for a while to count it as intentional exercise and isn't conducive to work, at least for me. If it's easier to pedal for 15 minutes, rather than take a walk around the block and you have the money to spend on it, I'd say it's pretty…

Bought these last night. Pretty yummy

I want that cookie dough now... think they’d send samples!? Haha joking big companies never do, but that would be nice. They are only available in certain states right? :([/quote] According to JunkBanter it looks like they only have it in their Vermont shop, but I'm almost positive in a matter of months demand will bring…

Has anyone tried these bowls yet? I’m always on the lookout for good lunch options for work and I’m hoping these fit the bill.

Baked with salsa (any kind) on top.

I hit 149.5 last week, my lowest weight in, I don't know how long. Another 1.5 and I'll be at 40 lbs lost since my daughter was born 3 years ago. I'd like to get down to 138 and make it a total of 50, but depending on how things go, I may just focus on recomp to get rid of the mummy tummy.

I haven't seen Little Rebellion but I'll take a look! I ate the Quest Sour Cream and Cheese chips and enjoyed them. It was a fairly large potion of chips for 130 cals and 21 grams of protein, I may buy them again (and they were $1.24). They reminded me a little of Baked Lays. Wegmans is coming to my area in the next year…
