I am not a runner, but when I run, it's only outside, not on the treadmill, I use the treadmill for walking and I'm usually happy for a solid hour-long show (42 minutes if I skip the commercials). I have created a few workouts of my own. 5x5: Increase the resistance by 5, every 5 minutes to the top and then decrease every…

I am very excited about the Gardein soups! Where did you find them?
-
They are a bit crumbly but delicious! My husband has asked if we can buy a lot to hold him over till it comes back next year.

Ditto on the Snackwells. Chocolate yogurt was my go to:

Can you please tell me what this is?!?! Other than heaven, of course.

My all time favorite food! I make it with mozzarella and sometimes throw in broccoli or corn (my mom made it with peas, but I would pick them out). I could eat a whole pan, the best!

Just posted to another thread, found this at Target and would be excellent with added proteins.

I am always on the lookout for vegetarian frozen meals for work lunches - Amy's and Gardein are my go-tos. Found this at Target yesterday. It's a little hot for me (I'm a total wimp with spices), but the flavor is good and the veggies cooked nicely and didn't get mushy. A pretty nice size bowl for 270 cals.

In high school, my favorite meal to make for myself was white rice mixed with a can of tuna. In college, my boyfriend (now my husband) suggested adding baked beans. Haven't eaten that combo in years though...

I also had scoliosis surgery at 13! I'm 40 now, and I also have some back pain, but it's not constant and unless I stand for a long time, it's fine. Massages help a lot. My workout consist mainly of treadmills, Zumba and lifting. I don't like running, but I like the calorie burn. But as far as lower impact goes, walking on…

I usually bring some kind of frozen meal for lunch, I'm also a vegetarian, so that limits what I can have. The Amy's Light and Lean line is pretty good, they've added a few new bowls. I've been enjoying the new Gardein bowls too. I will sometimes add additional vegetables or a protein (packet of tuna added to Amy's Light…

If you're holding the bars, you're not burning the calories. If the incline is too high to walk without holding, then lower the incline to the point where you can walk without holding on, or keep the incline but lower the speed. Also, if you're using the calories burned on the treadmill readout, those are usually higher…

There's a calculator - http://www.swimmingcalculator.com/swim_calories_calculator.php.

I'm not a big breakfast person, as I prefer to save my calories for later in the day (I like my snacks), but in the interest of protein, I like to drink a carton of Chocolate Muscle Milkb (100 cal. 20 g. protein). I drink it over ice on my way to work.

I'm sure some of these were posted before, but I spent some time in the cereal aisle. Also, I didn't buy it, because 230 cals. is a bit much for me for protein bar, but for those of you who like gingerbread:

Trader Joe's Chocolate Hummus! Tastes like raw brownie batter (although not as sweet). So good!

I've done a couple. I agree that the running aspect is easier because you're only running between obstacles not the whole distance. But mine had an obstacle where you had to run up a building and then back down, harder on my lungs than running. For training, i agree with the posters above, and grip strength helps too…

OMG, can you post the recipe?

No idea what these will taste like, but they popped up on my Facebook feed today.

There is no question in my mind that it is way too early for pumpkin products. That being said, I will definitely try one, in October.

Too many baby carrots and I get this weird feeling in my throat and chest. If I eat a few, I'm ok, any more than 2 servings worth and I get very uncomfortable.
-
I've been buying them for a while - they are my go-to lunch at work lately (I tend to cycle through other meatless options, Amy's, Sweet Earth, etc.). My favorite so far is the Teriyaki Chik'n. The orange one is good, but spicy (for me at least) and the fajita one was terrific - I added a little cheese. They also have…

Thanks, I will check it out and get my $10 for Prime Day in the process!!

Where do they sell these?

Where do they sell these??!?!? I love black raspberry!!

Beef jerky! I love that a 2 ounce bag is only 60-70 calories, has a ton of protein and is totally satisfying.

Amazing loss so far! Measurements are a great idea, but you can lose weight from anywhere - fingers, feet, face, head. Are your shoes a little loose, or rings and watches? or maybe a fitted hat sits differently on your head? The places where we most want to lose from, are often the last ones to go! Keep going and the…

The under-the-desk elliptical type thing is helpful and fairly quiet. It won't do much to get your heart rate up, so I wouldn't count it as cardio and I don't count calories burned as exercise calories either, but it would probably have the same impact as pacing the office. Other than that, you seem to have given yourself…

Unless they changed the information, here are the nutrition facts from the bag I bought in August in VT. So good!!!

Yes please! @glassyo, I guess they're as good as they look?
