  • That part of MFP doesn't work. I've been the same weight for what seems like forever eating healthy & not so healthy. The week where I was strict with the calorie threshold I didn't weigh anything what they said I would. I don't follow it but use it as a guide.
  • I'm 5'3" & started my weight loss journey on 08-6-11 with Weight Watchers. I started @ 213 lbs. and lost 40 lbs by the time I joined MFP which was 02/12/12. I have hit a plateau since. I'm maintain between 170 & 173 lbs. My goal weight is 150 lbs and I have to admit is getting frustrating. I'm going back to no fried foods…
  • I also use a weight watchers one that is made by Conair. It tracks your weight and bmi. It's lasted me for years now.
  • I had just graduated high school when I found out I was pregnant & the father was still in high school when I was pregnant. I found a part time job & I lived with my mom. After he was born I took a full time job cause the father decided he didn't want to be around. I didn't get a chance to go back to school. I've been…

  • Online "friend" website. Met & hooked up and since neither were dating anyone else, we decided to give a relationship a try. That was more than a year ago and half ago. We're planning to buy a house and get married to all happen in 2013. I'm glad I chose him as my "buddy".
  • I know that feeling. I finally gave up my last pair of size 16 pants that used to fit me so tight I could hardly breathe. Now they fit so loose and I would have to wear a belt with them to keep them up. I gave them one last good use and then tossed them away. I did, however took a picture in them to remind me of where I…
  • I'm feeling the same as most on this topic. I too have lost inches but no weight so it doesn't make sense. I have only eaten over my calorie goal 3 or 4 times since I started but now am wondering if I'm not eating enough for my active lifestyle. I had a health coach tell me to consume 1,300 minimum a day since I am pretty…
  • Congratulations!!! You look amazing and you are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
  • Have you hit a plateau? I gained too after I was steadily losing cause I was not eating enough. My body was storing the food for energy cause I was being active a lot but was not giving myself the fuel it needed in order to loose it. I now eat the xtra calories I burned & let me tell you, the weight is coming off. What are…

  • Chocolate M&M's and a cupcake. I went to the gym already and I don't have the time to go later but I'm hoping with all the walking I'm going to do at my second job that it will burn some of it off lol.
  • 40 weeks pregnant at 226 lbs. is the most I ever weighed. Otherwise 220 lbs was the most I ever weighed not pregant at the age of 27.
  • I eat corn tortillas. I eat them cause I love them and because it's been a food staple for me since I was little. Growing up in a Mexican family this is what you a lot of. Amazing thing though is that they may be high in carbs but they're actually low in calories. I however limit how many times a week I eat them though.
