Do you don't find her feminine?!?

You sound similar to me :) Also, try dried fruit instead of fresh (not the sugary kind though). The carbs in fresh fruit burn off really quick but the dried fruit seems to last a little longer.

I have problems with getting dizzy and feeling nauseous. I don't usually vomit but that is probably because I stop before I get to that point. My issue is usually related to 3 things, food, a drop in heart rate, or medication. It took a while for me to figure out the right combination of what to eat before a work out and…

I am not shallow. Far from it. But my weightloss is motivated by vanity and wanting to look better. Better health seems to be the only side effect of that, so that works for me :-)

I have the same problem. My hands and feet are starting to look like Skeletor they are so lean but my arms won't give up the fat!! You can't spot reduce, so just keep losing fat and they will eventually shrink with everything else. I do a lot of pushups, dips, and other tricep work to make sure I have sufficient muscle in…

If you are also lifting weights/resistance training then yes, you can can keep the lean muscle you already have. Or at least most of it. I started my weight loss while lifting weights and I maintained the majority of my lean muscle while losing fat.

I don't know what you're not doing, but I know what you're doing wrong..... paying too much attention to the number on the scale! Don't weigh as often. If you feel better, look better and you are losing inches then you are doing it right! Be patient, the scale number will eventually go down too.

I don't mean to be rude or mean or anything, you do what you want, but the fact that you are more concerned about getting to this "magical weight" of 105lbs is more important to you than the fact that you can barely lift 4lbs (a gallon of milk is around 8lbs) is very confusing to me. I agree with the others, get rid of the…

Captain's chair leg raises gives the core a good workout and you don't move your head at all.

I don't know lower verses upper abs, but the ab wheel is evil and works like a charm :-)

Squats, Lunges, Step ups, and hip thrusts to name a few. They are all you can do at home and you can do them with just your body weight to start.
-
No, you don't NEED to exercise to loose weight. It's really up to you and what your goals are. Simply put, your diet will determine your weight/fat loss. Exercise is for fitness and body composition. You can't exercise away a bad diet :)

Amazing weight loss!! Congratulations :) Did you have skin removal surgery on your arms? Your pictures look like you had it around your midsection, but I was wondering about your arms.
-
I'm a sweater too :-) And I've noticed I sweat even MORE if I've had a lot of sodium and I'm retaining water. My family is like that too I wonder if it's genetic.

I call them my bat wings. They are my nemesis, the last place I'm losing fat, lots of stretch marks, loose skin and annoying. I dislike them, but I think they are slowly getting better and I don't stress about it too much :) I do a lot of tricep and general arm exercises hoping to build some muscle to fill in some of the…

Actually for women it's 206 minus 88 percent of your age (206 - (.88 x age)) But I think it probably can vary from person to person based on your fitness level. I have a fairly low resting heart rate and if I get up past 160-170 while exercising I really struggle with dizziness and feeling nauseous. If you're concerned…

Diet and calorie deficit is used for weight loss. Exercise is for fitness and body definition. You can't exercise away a poor diet!

Blasphemy!!

Hi :flowerforyou: Like the other posters I struggle with overeating/binge eating and just random mindless eating. You can add me to your friends if you'd like. Also, if you like to read two books that really opened my eyes to why I eat what I do. Mindless Eating - By Brian Wansink End of Overeating Taking Control of the…

I like this option: b) Do as many hanging as possible and then finish out the set on the captain's chair But there are other ways to work those muscles like Incline hip raises, reverse crunches or using an ab wheel (my favorite and is also evil)

I apologize, he :) I base my comments on my experience. Countless research, articles, personal accounts from female lifters, advice from male and female trainers, body builder/power lifters, etc. I won't hijack this thread, but do a search, either here, bodybuilding.com, google etc. for Females getting bulky and you'll…

Uhh no. What she wrote is not accurate. My thighs continue to get leaner, stronger and more defined. Keep doing what you're doing, you are on the right track.
-
I ditto this :-) Well done and good for you for wanting to continue to increase the weight! Do try some of the alternative squats people are mentioning, you'd be surprised how difficult they can be and how they can help with the back squats.
-
Lucky brand jeans do a great job of this, they are my favorite. They have no gap and double belt loop in the back that also helps. If they don't work you'll probably have to always get jeans tailored.
