You look lovely, I can really see the difference especially in your waist.

You look amazing, beautiful shape. Well done x

I weight the foods I need to but I eat fairly simple (fish, chicken, eggs, veg). I don't know how many calories I burn as I noticed the HRM wasn't consistent with CF as it is not one continuous workout, I would guess 300-500.

Thanks Arguablysamso, my problem with that is the low calories.. I can't seem to stick to it without feeling hungry or weak. Don't get me wrong I am not looking for the fastest way to lose weight but I want a good balance, I want to look and feel great.

Well I haven't lost a lb in the last 4 weeks, before that it was .5 per week roughly. I eat well, I generally take around 1600-1800 cals a day, 40%C 30%P 30%F. I understand that diet is most important what I am asking about is the workout side of things, I am very much interested in sculpting my body and I enjoy training.…

I take one rest day, not so much for the physical but for the mental side of things.

5 or 6, crossfit and short runs.

Clean it, chop it up (not too small but easier to eat), steam it for 5 mins and then throw it in a pan with bacon, garlic, butter and some salt and pepper.

Thank you for sharing, congratulations and well done x

Breakfast - Pork and apple sausages with Genius seeded bread, 2 egg and beans. Lunch, Salmon with beans and beetroot salad. Dinners - (these are not every day dinners, we usually eat big on Sundays) Beef Roast, duck fat potatoes, yorkshire pudding and veggies. Chicken legs and thigh, sweet potato slices, macaroni cheese,…
-
Chicken Satay, fish cakes..
-
Soups, stir fry's with veg and meat, all seafoods, vegetable melodies etc.. I would allow myself a small portion of rice and just fill up on the rest.
-
Lol, of course. However, this is different being that it is almost like clock work on a daily basis.
-
Bacon, broccoli, spinach, red pepper, jalapeño and some cheese. (add in garlic and a little mustard for seasoning)
-
I also portion nuts in bags (ready to grab and already weighted for easy logging), I clean then dry all fruit and put into tubs for ready to go grabbing. Being prepared is half the battle.
-
I too make soup, its so easy to store (I use bags) and just take it out the freezer the night before. You can cook meat/veg/sweet potato store it, take out what you need the night before. I generally chop up onions, peppers, beets etc. ready to throw on top of salad leaves, they will last in a sealed tub for a few days.

Also (and sorry for all the questions), do you think it would be affecting me if I am short of 200cal per day? I tend to eat quite well (lots of greens and lean meats) so its sometimes hard to make up those extra calories without eating a huge meal, and of course I don't want to eat something high in stats 'just because'.
-
Thank you so much ^^ My logging hasn't been consistent (busy few months) but most days are like today or yesterday, I think I do need to eat a little more and wait for things to even out. Do you think I could possibly need more carbs or will the protein and fat be enough to get me through?

Bumping, does anyone else eat oats for breakfast and still have good results?
-
Thank you for that, I am not coeliac but I do have minor reactions. I don't have to be 100% however I chose to try and avoid it as and when I can.
-
Hang in there, I am in the same boat. To me a clean diet is nothing processed, what does an average day look like for you?
-
Thank you for the replies people, just to confirm I would be using (gluten free) rolled oats to make my own porridge.
-
Thanks guys, Im trying to stay off too much caffeine. I drink around 3lt of water per day. Maybe I will get used to it, this is only my second week.
-
Well done, and great bum :)

I hate to say but I must agree with Guinivere and only because I have tried every single fad diet going. Its hard to accept but the only way to do it is to work hard and eat clean, change your lifestyle. Its a great community here, whatever you choose to do I wish you good luck :)

Your little girl looks absolutely just like you, she got that wonderful smile. Well done to you and good luck in the future.
