my sister's first kid was born on his due date too... I was 11, but it was so funny cuz my mom was telling me and my little brother "don't expect the baby to be born on its due date, they rarely come on their due date." haha and then low and behold he was. it was funny.

I've learned that too... listening to music, especially my favorite songs by my favorite singer, really helps pass the time and the distance. and it renews my determination and makes me feel even better for walking.

I'll post my own  I've only lost 6 pounds though lol. 1. when I put my hands on my hips, I feel less fat there 2. I feel the difference in my muscles, I can make it further walking or just working out without getting tired, than I could when I started 3 weeks ago 3. my thighs look more toned 4. my stomach is…

great job! I can only imagine the rush you're feeling! if I ran or even jogged, any length, I'd be experiencing knee pain for a long time after.

you could try lite white grape juice :) or Propel water. I can't remember how many calories are in the lite juice though... welch's makes it, I don't know who else.

I'm so glad I don't have really young siblings in the house lol. Trick yourself into thinking it's not there, distract yourself until you forget about it.

I've never tried that. thankfully I haven't had that issue yet. but that's a good way to do it when it works for you :)

yes your stomach shrinks as it gets used to eating less... like when you eat too much and you feel overly stuffed, it means you're stretching it out... so it does the opposite when you eat less than you used to/usually do. it can take a while though, probably 2 weeks to a month, to shrink down enough to where you feel full…

those are good

welcome. that's a great goal. good luck!

that's great you're moving on and ready for the future :)

I'm opposite, for the most part... but maybe working out keeps your mind on what you need to do, and non-workout days feel like lax days to your brain and it thinks you need to eat more, so it sends you a signal that you're hungry... I don't know if that even makes sense. it's late

welcome, Kerri :)

1. I'm addicted to music 2. my choice occupation is/would be a nanny 3. I actually like fruits and veggies, but most of them have to be just right

I'm not doing that... but I'm doing Biggest Loser Cardio Max 6 week boot camp... I'm not doing it as much as it recommends (4-5 times a week) but I'm trying to do it at least 3 times a week... 1st level just has Bob's workout, 2nd level adds one of Julian's workouts, I haven't made it to the 3rd level yet- but I think it…

I think it does, but I'm one that doesn't like drinking water that much... I drink sparkling water beverages and Propel... I really do think it should count. there's water in it. if you don't drink any plain water and just have fruits, veggies, other drinks, etc; you don't get dehydrated because there are water in those…

I already knew some of those things. I haven't plauteaued yet, but I'm only 2 1/2 weeks in. Thanks for posting the tips

I have no idea, I'm not even using that part of the site... mostly I just come on here for support and to talk to people.

I'm definitely not an expert, but you should be okay especially at first. I save most of my calories for night too, cuz I am a night owl. I usually eat a little every 2 hours to keep myself full. I couldn't stand to wait any longer at first. hopefully I can eventually work up to only eating every 3 or 4 hours. I really…

That's a lot for anyone to handle... Glad that you're back to trying not to smoke  Good luck!

today I had a strawberries & cream Slim-Fast shake with a banana... 285 calories roughly, maybe 300 if it was a large banana but mine was about medium sized. it kept me full for over an hour. I was shocked :noway: I will do the same thing until my bananas run out, then switch to apple. even with a chocolate SF shake- it…

that's definitely possible! I want to lose about that much (in addition to the 6 I've already lost) by then too. and I'm trying only to rely on realistic and healthy goals so I don't majorly disappoint myself. so that's a good goal!
