  • Let's see. I would like to squat my body weight (155) currently at 115. Would like to have a better grip and form with my deadlifts. I can DL my bw but I can feel my grip failing on the last rep or two. I want to solidly pick it up, and have control when putting it back down. More cardio through a big hike or two this…
  • Well I don't measure super regularly, but around 2 months I began to notice my fat was redistributing, making me look super hot. :glasses: For me, I had the typical lady bump in front of my abs (some bs about protecting babies when you get pregnant) which began to smooth out, my abs looked longer and more defined. My arms…
  • i love whole eggs. i used to be an egg white person, but egg whites have no flavor, and don't taste as wonderful.
  • I started cycling when I was about 216. I couldn't handle running, but I could handle sitting on my butt and reading for an hour a day. I started running when I was just under 200lbs. Kept running on the C25k program till I had lost 20lbs, at about 180.
  • i already tricked steve into having my babies. nerdfitness unite!
  • that's so sad, i feel terrible for that family. i'm very lucky i have such a sweet dog, who i've taken the time to train, and who respects me and my position as leader of our "pack". however i don't think i would ever have more dogs/animals than people in a house. i just wouldn't be able to give them all the love, care and…
  • I eat a big spoonful of almond butter, or AB and an apple when I'm hungry at night. Sometimes I'm hungry for the fat, other times the sugar. I am hungry ALL THE TIME since weight lifting. So I just listen to my body and feed it. It took a while for me to untangle bored hungry from real hungry though.
  • i like greek gods athena yogurt. i used to have fat free, but noticed they sometimes add in sugar when they cut fat. also full fat yogurt tastes better! less like sour cream, more like soft serve ice cream

  • i was on lexapro, and went off it cold turkey like a n00b and had horrible withdrawal for at least 3 months. my poor boyfriend. mood swings, anger, irritation, everything. i leveled out though, got in shape, and feel a whole lot better now. but yes. weaning off SUCKS.
  • 1) What was your workout schedule? How many rest days? How many days to complete? How many workouts in a row? I did 30DS 3 - 5x a week. Took me over a month. 2) Is it possible I'm just not at a high enough fitness level for this? It's possible, but I doubt it. It will be hard, then it will become easier. 3) Did you work…
  • is it possible you're happier, moving around more, and doing less emotional eating? medication will affect everyone differently, but it seems like it's working out for the better!
  • as someone who is on here 5 days a week 9 - 5pm, it happens. sometimes once a week, sometimes every few weeks. calm yo'self!
  • blackout shades are the best!! i also have noticed the room is warmer, and stays so longer with the heavy shades. maybe i'll look into that light alarm, thanks for the tip!
  • morning! i usually wake up before my alarm, and pass out on the couch by 10:30pm sharp. mornings are quiet and peaceful, sans my beau, who is loud and demands attention
  • umm a 7 or 8. their hotness level tanks if they're doing half squats, or engaging in fookarounditis.
  • oops read your question wrong. why do you ask how? when you squat, do you feel your ab muscles contracting? that's creating muscle. deadlifting, when you tighten your core, you're creating muscle. but it does take time. it took a good 2 months of consistent lifting for my abs to be more defined. but they are rock hard, and…
  • lol adorable!! i'm more primal than paleo, but i like plain old milk. no sugar. i have to try coconut milk creamer though it sounds great. i just rarely drink coffee so i don't know if it'd expire before i could use it all
  • dani's right on the money, but i did want to say do not do deadlifts first!! one day the squat rack was taken, so i thought what the heck i'll do my dl's first. then did my squats. i was dizzy after the first set and barely made it through. i also PR-ed on my DL so maybe that had a lot to do with it  personally, i…
  • funny story i can only tell fellow woters.... i got memory of light for my BF, and after finishing it, he complained about some loose ends. namely, he was frustrated moiraine just showed up without any explanation of how she got out of the tower. fast forward a month, i just finished knife of dreams and was looking for…
  • i was definitely yelling at my TV last night while watching it from my DVR a lot of ugh moments for me, sad that cas is again just a puppet, sad that meg got the pointy stabby, and sad to see cas beat the crap out of dean. but dean can take a punch!! the story line is interesting, but why does all humanity have to go out…
  • i like gelato better. more creamy.
  • I do HIITs every once in a while on lift days. Maybe 1x a week. I max out at 15 minutes of HIITs, on a treadmill with interval buttons. I usually do a 3 minute warm up, and depending on how I'm feeling, hit 8mph right away, back to 3mph, rinse repeat, or I work up to 8mph - 6, then 7, then 8, (alternating with 3mph) and…
