  • Hi everyone, my name is Kathy and I'm from Oregon. I'm a little late on getting the new year started but here goes. I've gained back all 50lbs that I lost in 2011 and would love to blame it on my Rheumatoid Arthritis being out of remission or turning 55 or being happy and in love but I honestly think what it comes down to…

  • What type of weights do you do? I walk/run on the treadmill for 1 hour/4 miles 5 to 6 nights a week and then do some floor exercises but I need to add weights in. Heading to the treadmill now.
  • I wish I could pinpoint the exact moment that I started slipping. I keep track on a calendar of every night I get on the treadmill and that is usually 5 nights a week. Is it possible to be happy with your life but not happy with yourself? I plan to continue to record my food and exercise daily which I know I stopped doing…
  • Hi, I lost 70lbs over a two year period and was very happy. This last summer I started slipping back and now have gained 20lbs. I need motivational help! I just don't know how to get it. Each day I start fresh but one day turns into the next and I've wasted 7 months.
  • Tailbone was my first surprise. Hurts to sit on it since there is no more cushion. Love the hip bones though and the collarbones. Not crazy over the skin hanging down in the belly. Keep telling myself the more situps the tighter it will get but.........who knows? I keep hoping.
  • I'm here for you! It's a tough journey and all the friends you can get to keep you motivated will help. I started 2 years and 5 mths ago. Changing my lifestyle one day at a time. I walk on the tredmill 5 nights a week and eat more fish, vegetables and fruit. It's hard to start but once things start changing in your life…
  • I'm in. I already do 50 situps and 50 bicycle crunches at night but I'm going to start the am too. 30 days!!!
  • I was at a plateau since the beginning of June and just broke through this week. I didn't gain anything over the summer but I didn't lose anything either. Finally lost 2lb this past week. I stopped walking/running on the treadmill for 4 miles and started walking briskly on the treadmill for 5 miles. Refocused on my eating…
  • Your not alone but I know how it feels. My downfall is that when I slip I want to be alone. It's like if no one knows I didn't get my butt on the treadmill today than it's o.k. I'm really trying to learn to be accountable to myself for my food intake and my exercise. I really think that once I can conquer that mental part…
