I am a very reserved person and this is a big leap for me to call on people I don't know to help me. I am looking for friends who will help me stay motivated when I hit the plateau's. So far in the last 5 years I have lost 45 lbs by mostly exercising. I will lose 10 to 20 lbs hit a plateau that I can't break through and then give up. So I end up adding back on on 5 to 10 lbs. Earlier this year from March thru June I lost 20 lbs got down to 183 and stayed there for 3 weeks. Gave up. I am now once again getting back on this roller coaster ride and hoping I can find people who can encourage me during the plateaus to keep moving give me ideas what to do to break thru the dreaded plateaus so I can finish the weight loss journey and start the healthy living life. My best friend of over 25 years introduced me to this sight a few weeks ago. I have been entering in food and exercise not on a daily basis but I have lost 2 lbs since I have been somewhat paying attention to what I am eating and exercising. If I start using this tool daily and have friends who I can support in their journey and who can help me beat the crap out of the plateau's. I believe that I will be able to reach my goal of 125 by August 2012.
My husband promised me an entire new wardrobe when I hit my goal weight. I want to shop!

I was at a plateau since the beginning of June and just broke through this week. I didn't gain anything over the summer but I didn't lose anything either. Finally lost 2lb this past week. I stopped walking/running on the treadmill for 4 miles and started walking briskly on the treadmill for 5 miles. Refocused on my eating habits and making sure that I'm not eating after 9:00 pm. Lots of fruits, vegetables and fish. Stay positive and greet each day like it is your first. That's what I do anyways. Not always easy but I keep trying.0
