Just completed week 2 day 1, it was ok, but had my son trailing along with me, it will probably kill me next time hehe, but the sun was shining and the smell of salty sea air all around is a great motivator

yesterday was my off day and i took my son swimming, i say swimming that means me walking up and down stairs to the water flumes and water jogging when he is practising his swimming lol, it was really busy in the pool because of the school holidays, but he loves it!! on to week 2 tomorrow :laugh:

yes i am doing the NHS couch to 5k, that recommends 3 sessions of each week until weeks 5 and 6 then they give you a run for each run of the 3 runs that week to follow, then 3 again of weeks 7-9 my little boy is coming running with me today, should be fun :tongue:

^^^^This your net calories that is your total calories - your exercise calories, should be at least 1200 a day! when i was netting less than this i was not losing any weight. it is displayed on your home page what your net calories are, you haven't even cleared 1000 today

ice and cold compresses are great for muscle fatigue as it reduces the inflammation caused by the muscles, also up your water / fluid intake, it helps flush out the lactic acid build up, and after a while your muscles will get used to it :happy:

I have always walked everywhere, but this year i have started power walking, trying to improve my pace and can walk for ages, i love walking in the sun with my music on and have just started my couch to 5k which is mostly walking to start, I love Walking !!!

there are many different types, but a study has shown, that they don't actually firm up anything more than usual trainers would, i read it on the Daily Mail uk website, i won't waste my money on them !!

I measure everything, it's a habit i picked up from weight watchers years ago it helps as you will be surprised just how much you get for the weight portion recommended !! and you could end up eating more than you intend to
