I'm obsessed with apple cider vinegar drinks. I used to buy Suja but now I make my own. I also enjoy the occasional kombucha.

So the issue went away when your deficit became smaller? Am I eating too little?
-
A little over a year. I was in the obese range but I'm pretty petite and have PCOS.
-
Add me! I keep a paleo diet.
-
Feel feee to add me; I'm getting married in October!

5 feet flat and ~137 pounds. I usually wear a 4/6, sometimes a 2. I also wish we had the same sizing as men :(.

I log every day

I'm also trying to lose weight for my wedding, and I've lost almost 30 pounds this year. Hoping for another 15-20 before my wedding in October. I follow a paleo diet and work out 5-6 days a week (yoga, circuit, and conditioning).

1400 here. Feel free to add me.

I just physically feel and look much better.
-
I try to practice yoga 1-2 times a week in addition to my cardio and strength routine. It definitely helps my mobility and flexibility.
-
I'm quite a bit shorter but I'm 139 and looking to get to 120-125. I'm 25 years old. Feel free to add me!

I'm 25 and started a goal of 45 pounds -- now only 19 to go. Feel free to add me :)

[quote About the same. I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, and it usually ends up adding up to about half of my calories burned.

I am! I'm getting married next fall. Looking to lose 15-20 lb before the wedding. Feel free to add me!

Yes. All of this. Low-ish carb, no matter how you do it, and exercise are key. At 1,500 a day with exercise 5-6 days a week and low-ish carb, I still only lose about 3 pounds a month in a good month. I'm now down 25 and 20 more to go.

My gym has a location next door to my office. I often can't get away for lunch, but I try to whenever I can! Sometimes that's exactly what I need.

I had a similar experience with leaving my boot camp. It's a real mom and pop shop and owned by two really nice guys. But their class offering was way too limited and just didn't work with my schedule, and I stopped getting as much out of the classes. I wrote them a really heartfelt email when I left, and it really felt…

If you have a decent blender or food processor, basically buy pre-toasted pecans or toast them yourself and mix them with oil (ideally a form of fat that's solid at room temperature, but I often use avocado oil or ghee), a tiny bit of honey (since I like sweet/salty), and salt. So easy, and you can adjust to your taste.
-
I make my own ghee. It's far less expensive than buying and tastes much better. I also make my own nut butter -- pecan butter is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted.

I have PCOS, and I've lost 25 pounds in the past year through a combination of the paleo diet and exercise, and I have about 15-20 more to go until I reach my goal. PCOS can be overcome, but it's difficult, and you have to be patient.

I also love coffee. But recently, I've been noticing some bloating and other gastrointestinal distress. I skipped my second cup this morning and already notice a difference, but could be coincidental.

This is all helpful. Does anyone have progress pictures?
-
Thanks, everyone. I need the encouragement!
