I love it! It’s a great workout. I wrote a full review on my blog — corporatecavewoman.com.

Must have a great relationship with her brother

For the first time this week, I was able to do a full body bind in yoga from side angle pose and do a tree pose with my foot on my thigh and not on my calf. I can also hold a crow for longer now, although I really want to get to five breaths.

I'm 5 feet tall and terrified of heights --- a major reason that I struggle with pull-ups. For the box jump, don't think about the height, but the momentum. Jump as high as you can, like if you were a kid, and let that effort push you forward and up. Hope that helps! I can clear the 18 inch and working up to 24 inches.

Rowed over 900m in 4 min and almost set the class record :)

I'm two and a half weeks into paleo/keto (after only doing paleo for a year and a half). I broke a 2-month plateau and have lost 4 pounds so far! Hoping for continued success -- I'm planning on doing one month on and one month off until my wedding this fall.

Any takers?

Thanks :). I also work out 4-5 times a week -- mixture of circuit training, running, and yoga.

I'm 5 feet and have lost 31lb so far. I started at 164.8 and am now 133.5. GW is 115-120lb. I just switched over to keto-paleo to break a 4-month plateau at 135, and I'd been doing regular paleo for about a year and a half up to that point. Pics below! (Note that I've lost 13 more pounds since the most extreme…

Thanks everyone! These suggestions are all really helpful! The savory ones are a bit problematic for me since I don't eat dairy, but it's a really good start!

I second this. I also like to have hard boiled eggs or egg muffins at the office.

I'm trying to work out what makes sense. I haven't really been taking rest days recently (either doing strength training, cross training, HIIT, or running every day), but I think I need to take more. Trying to decide if I should fill them with yoga and/or walking or take a full rest, since I truly enjoy being physically…

5 feet with a goal of 120 (but may go lower once I get there). SW was 165 and CW is 135. Feel free to add me!

I'm 5' and my goal is 120-125. Started at 165 and currently at 136.

I'm at 1300!

Same here apart from my gym time. Feel free to add me!

Yes. And as a woman with PCOS, I've found that only a low carb diet works for me. I get most of my carbs from fruits and vegetables, and I don't eat any bread or white sugar.
-
My guess is that you probably need to work on your diet.

Congratulations! To me, it depends on how much you're charging per month. If you're in the low range (e.g. planet fitness, blink), I would say that dumbbells in 2.5-5 lb increments from 2.5-~40 lb would be good, along with all of the standard cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, stair master, cross-trainer, spinning…

I'm aiming for about 120, but I'm extremely curvy, so any less would likely not look great on me, especially because I do a considerable amount of strength training. Top of the normal BMI for our height is 128.

All I was doing was suggesting an approach that has more of a track record that would provide a framework for what the OP seemed to intend to want to accomplish.

Lots of people misread what I said. I said that it doesn't work for everyone. It does work for lots of people -- evidence by your success. A diet like Whole 30 can help people figure out what works for them as individuals. The approach to eating worked much better for me, since my body doesn't tolerate sugar well. Also,…

I think that if you want to do an elimination diet, you should do something like a Whole 30. That will get you weaned off of the foods that gave you cravings and also help you figure out which foods you're sensitive to. I think that those who abide strictly to a CICO approach are a bit narrow-minded, since it doesn't work…

I'm paleo -- feel free to add me!

I follow a mostly paleo diet and have had great results. My skin cleared up after years of adult acne, and I've lost 30 pounds (in conjunction sigh an intense exercise regimen). However, following a paleo diet correctly is really hard if you don't like to cook and aren't willing to spend an exorbitant amount of money on…

I've also found that HIIT workouts support a lot of my other functional workouts. For example, I started running again after a few years off and 1+ year of regular HIIT. My personal best, the fastest pace that I can hold a minute, has gone up about 2 mph without actually practicing running at all during that time.

Very pretty!
-
Thanks! I'd be happy to give it a try.

I'm 5 feet flat with a SW of 165, CW of 137, and GW of 120 (massive boobs and bone structure probably won't let me go lower). I did boot camp religiously for a year (4 times a week) but switched to a more varied routine a few months ago with what I think are positive results! I did paleo without counting calories for a…
