I'm so glad you posted the pictures! I can't wait to see the difference by the time you need to get it altered! :)

Great post! It's definitely helpful to remember those changes that may not always be obvious when trying to motivate ourselves... I tend to lose motivation when I can't physically see a change. Congrats on the bridesmaids dress being really loose - it'll be such a great feeling to have to go in for alterations! You could…

@ChristieDF - that pose, it exudes confidence!

I'm a very simple sandwich person - 6" turkey breast sub on Italian bread, with lettuce and green peppers and lite mayo. They used to have the hearty Italian bread around here but have apparently discontinued it.... that was my FAVORITE! :(

I try not to ban things but there are quite a few things that I try to limit... 1) Candy (specifically anything minty - Junior Mints, York, etc) 2) Thin mints 3) Ice cream 4) Sugary coffee creamer 5) Juice I have an undeniable sweet tooth and a strong history of diabetes in my family, so I can't afford to indulge as much…

Goodwill is my absolute favorite place to shop, weight loss or not! When the most expensive piece of clothing is usually $4.99 and the occasional $2.50, I don't feel bad about going a little shopping crazy. It definitely satisfies my urge to shop while keeping the spending in check and creating sort of an ever-changing…

My go-to snack is anything with peanut butter - apples and peanut butter, celery and peanut butter, etc. It jazzes up some foods that can otherwise get pretty boring day after day, and adds some healthy fats and protein. I also second the raw veggies and plain popcorn suggestion! Some others: Rice cakes Raw…

Good luck! I started it but an old injury got the best of me about halfway through. It's totally worth it! It'll kick your butt but you'll notice yourself getting stronger and it feels so great. I used this chart to help me keep track of my progress:…

I've only ever gotten Scarlett Johansson... but I don't really see it? @LMick1986 - you look like Mariska Hargitay from Law and Order! It may just be the hair but I see a resemblance!…

@Boston401: right back at you ;)

You have lovely eyes!

I've gotten Scarlett Johansson a couple of times... but I'm not sure I see the resemblance?

"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" - Steve Prefontaine This quote was on the back of my track & field tshirts in high school. I was on the rowing team my first year in college and used to wear the shirt to practice - the girls behind me in the boat loved it!

Love it!

Time... and focusing on yourself. Whenever I break up with someone, I always start a new and different exercise routine or do something that I love that I haven't done in awhile. You're the only person you'll have forever, so you have to make sure YOU are happy first, and don't worry about anyone else for awhile. Making…

I ran on a hurting knee back in January - ended up in physical therapy for three months and I still can't run :/ Take the time off for it to heal, and do other things in the mean time! Crunches, upper-body exercises, etc. Jillian Michaels says in her 30DS video that punches (squat with alternating punches) are a great way…

I think it all depends on the context and the relationship of the people saying it. I used to get upset with my ex for saying 'love you' a lot, but it was usually because I was annoyed with him for other things and that was just an easy target to nag him about :P

1. Bananas 2. Apples 3. Blueberries ... guess I like fruit :)

Due to a family history of colon cancer (great-grandmother died of it, grandfather is now cancer-free, and my mom is currently doing chemo to treat a recurrence), my sister and I are going to be scheduling colonoscopies around age 25. I promise to schedule mine as soon as it's time! Its thanks to an early colonoscopy that…

Great results, I'm starting L1D7 today! Crossing my fingers for results like yours :) @KimH - the videos are on youtube :)

Maybe buy a jogging stroller and take your daughter with you? They have mother/baby yoga classes, etc. that you could also look at to incorporate your daughter in your workouts. Or, get some do-at-home DVDs like Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, etc. that you could do after your daughter goes to bed. 30DS is…

I think that the fact that you binged a little bit, immediately realized it was wrong, and came here to seek help already shows that you've changed. You're in the recovery mindset and you honestly want to put your health first. Just remind yourself that it was just.one.day. Press the reset button tomorrow - eat a healthy…

I lost 7 pounds my first week, but it leveled off to 1 or 2 a week after that. I think the first week was just my body going "WOAH. What are you doing?!" and then after that it was more like, "Oh. I see what you did there. Not falling for that one again!". So I switched it up, increased my calories by 200, and it totally…

York peppermint patties. I keep a king-sized bag of the mini ones in my freezer at all times - a nice 50 calorie treat once every couple days to keep my sweet tooth in check :)
