Try using it to replace rice and cous cous. I like putting it in soup, salad, and egg dishes. It adds a nice sort of crunchy texture (even when it's cooked) and nutty flavor.

I've been doing it for a while and I have a BMI of 33. I think you'll be fine, because you're already on a really active program.
