  • Mine was down to 14. I did have the same symptoms as you do. It did take a while for the Vitamin D3 to get into my system. I was on a prescription from the doctor for 3 months and now take a b3 suppliment. The only thing was it did take a while for me to tell the difference. Hang in there!
  • I'm not sure if it really makes any difference as long as you drink it. I just like water and drink at least a gallon a day.
  • In the long term what is a week or two. Even if you are miserable, give a notice. It will come back to haunt you if you don't.

  • My son's name is Cokey give name is Martin Colen. Fits him wonderfully and no one else has that name :) It is a nick name that came from his grandfather's family. That was what they called him.
  • I totally agree with this! Especially if you are the one that does all the cooking. I told my kids when they were growing up that if they didn't like what I put on the table they did without. Now all 3 of them are grown but they will eat what ever. They didn't get the choice of different meals on the same table. Not enough…
  • oh wow! Could I say all of the above? I used food as a crutch, I could eat and it was satisfying and that's what I did. Eat and eat and eat. 3 children (grown now) but gained with the last one until I was very fat and sassy. Never lost it all. I tore my achilles tendon and couldn't do anything for a long time. Then I…
  • Hi Sue, I'm Sue also :) I know what you mean about using your obesness as a crutch so people won't get close to you. I have done the same. I have a ways to go also. I have lost 43 lbs and still have about 60 more to go. I love being a cheer leader and want you to know when you have finally put your feeling down that's the…

  • It's all about taking one day at a time! You are worth making a change! I sent you a friend request. If you mess up and eat too much today start again tomorrow. Make some new friends, help support them and they will do the same for you. This is an awsome site! Take that baby for a walk it will really make you both feel…

  • I'm 5'8" and currently at 219 my highest was 260. ( I pray i never see that again! ) My goal is 160 and I'll go from there. I'd love to be in a 10-12 pant. I've got big arms and legs so I might have to go down a bit more to be in a size 10. Right now I just want to be under 200! Can't wait to see 199!

  • Welcome! I do tend to eat the same thing often. My calorie goal is 1200. I've lost 41 lbs. 26 inches. Still a ways to go. I eat mostly protein. I have problems with my thyroid so have a harder time loosing. I seem to loose the most when following a low carb diet. During the week I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast 2-4…
  • Do something special for yourself that doesn't include food. Hair cut, mani/pedi, do something that you really enjoy, call a friend and go out and walk the mall. It won't take away the hurt and rejection but with time and friends you can get thru it. Friend me if you'd like!

  • I love to read, sew, crafts, garden, go camping! I also love to ride around in my 74 Camaro that I've had since it was new. It is now restored to almost original. Only a couple things left to do!
  • I'm not sure about the shin splints but I tore my achilies tendon years ago and reinjured it about 1 1/2 years ago now. I was in a boot for 19 week. 24 hours a day other than to bathe. Thank goodness didn't have to have surgery! All I can say is be very careful. Best to talk to a foot doctor. My family doctor had me…
  • I was managing 2 motels. One of my employees came in and said something had happened. Won't ever forget that day!
  • Have you ever had your Vitamin D level tested? I was having the same problem and my doctor kept thinking it was my thyroid. (Thyroid problems run in my family) My vitamin D level was 14. Way too low. This was about a year ago. I now take D-3 10,000 IU a day. Per doctor's orders. This is a vitamin that you get from liver,…

  • Acid reflux a lot of foods and alcohol can bother. Green Peppers and Garlic kill me! But spicy food, fried food, onions so many things can trigger acid reflux. I am on 40 mg of prescription prilosec a day. That helps but doesn't totally take care of the problem. I also can't eat 3-4 hours before I go to bed. I do the best…
