Haha! I know exactly which one your talking about. I am a total prudy :blushing: , but I realize most people are not. Love seeing everyone's success though. It's so motivating.

So I'm not gonna be a ton helpful on this, but wanted to post a reply anyway  I think protein powders are fine just look for one that doesn't have a ton of carbs and sugar and at least 20grams of protein or more per serving. I have been trying to get in extra protein in my diet too. As of late I have been eating…

I have often wondered this as well. I have read that unless you have health issues, consuming up to half your body weight is acceptable. After reading this article I set my MFP macros to 40%carb/30%fat/30%protein. At 1500 cals a day that gives me over 100 grams of protein a day. I haven't been doing it long, but I haven't…

Just sent you a friend request. I have two naturally skinny sisters, so I know what it's like. The support on here ROCKS!

Been doing this as well. Just started this ratio, but it hasn't been super hard to stick with so I think I can maintain this as a life style change.

I have an enormous sweet tooth so I can relate. I am in love with skinny cow ice cream (mostly because it comes in prepackaged servings). If he likes bananas, try a frozen banana with white or dark chocolate chips (it is supper sweet). Dark chocolate is also good, the more coco the better. I try ones that have at least 70%…

I agree with Razique. Make sure on subway's website you tell it 12", it automatically defaults to 6". Also make sure you are looking at the total calories and not serving size, or calories from fat.

Try doing circuits with reps of different exercises (I've been doing 30 counts of with 3 reps). Some exercises include: jumping jacks, lunges, mountain climbers, push ups, squats, lunges, supermans, crunches, planks, burpees. Just go from one exercise straight into the next with no rest in between so your heart rate stays…

First off welcome  I know people say that the protein macro here is generally low, so it's okay if you go over. Unless you have restrictions from the doctor, extra protein is good for you. It aids in muscle recovery and it digest slower so you feel satisfied longer. If seeing the red bothers you, you can adjust your…

Thanks for your open honesty. I totally could have written this entire post. Love breakfast for dinner too  Just like you, I have learned that pre-loading my calories (which I haven't done all this week) is the only way to keep on track. Isn't it funny how sometimes we think we are eating better than we actually are.

All that JM is paying off! What a fabulous victory!

First off you deserve a happy dance :drinker: , but this is the best they had. Cheers to you on your weight loss so far! 19lbs is major and I'm sure you can get that last pound off in the next few weeks! I totally understand what you are saying about MFP. I feel like it is a God sent. I don't know what I would do without…

I am sorry you are feeling like this. It is difficult to strike a balance. Some days I do great, other days not so much. So know we are all here trying to get healthy together. I don't have any really good advice (I hope someone does), other then to tell you to cut yourself some slack. You won't eat "perfect" all the time.…

Terrible week :frown: 4/2: 216 lbs 4/9: 213 (-3) 4/16: 214.5 (Seriously?!?!?) So I'm up 1.5lbs from last week. I've reduced my calorie goals to loose 1.5lbs/wk. Have a lot of ground to make up.
