I just started trying quest to up my protein and some are TERRIBLE but some are actually pretty good. The cookie dough and mint chocolate chunk are literally the only ones I will eat, but I will eat and enjoy them. And they have 21 and 20g protein respectively and 15g of fiber. And the fiber is what I really wanted.

Ah, this should go under a list of bad economic/race/social sayings instead of gym sayings. People can just pull themselves up by their bootstraps like I did or like *insert case study here*. Classic.

this! I find if I drink a decent amount of water before/during meals (not consciously downing water to feel full but just consistently drinking water during the day and drinking while eating) I get full more easily and so do not tend to overeat.

I've been doing overnight oats in the morning! I mix in some almond milk, vanilla chobani, and chop up about a third of mango the night before and eat that for suhoor. That's so awesome! I honestly think the biggest difference between those who do it and those who don't is a mindset. Because no matter how committed you are in the moment, if your head is not in the game, it won't last. Congrats :)

for some odd reason it was my thighs first. the rest of me looks exactly the same but my thighs have definitely gotten smaller.
