There's an amazing book called "Creative Visualization" By Shakti Gawain that I personally love. It has lots of creative visualization techniques to help you keep your mind focused on what you want for yourself and the quality of life you want. I also find meditation really helpful as well. I did the old old program - before the points system. I found it very helpful in learning how to eat a more balanced diet. I also found their recipes and meetings helpful. Now I prefer to be on this site as its cheaper. Plus i"m following a program my doctor has set out for me instead.

This is what I do too. that way I know exactly what I'm eating. Plus I like my food better then the store bought stuff anyway. :)

I have a desk job and don't hardly move out of my seat most days. So when I do big clean ups like you are describing, or something more unusual then I include it. I don't include daily regular stuff - like cooking or doing the dinner dishes. But that's my preference, everyone has a different idea of what's best.

There's a whole foods store not too far from me. I really really like the variety that they carry. Lots of amazing choices I can't find in other stores. I've had a lot of success with Kohls. I also like Penningtons and Additionelle - but I don't know if those are in the states or not. It might be only canada.
