Christmas dress shopping....

I went dress shopping today and needless to say it was totally unsuccessful and very depressing. I tried on a really cute red dress and look absolutely horrible in it. Does anyone have any tips as to where I might be able to find a cute red/black dress to wear for family christmas portraits? (I have already tried Dillards, Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, JC Penney, Target, Macy's)

    I always find some good stuff at Marshall's. Winter is sometimes slim pickin's if you live in a cold area, but usually I find at least 2 dresses I like there.

    I've had a lot of success with Kohls. I also like Penningtons and Additionelle - but I don't know if those are in the states or not. It might be only canada.

    ROSS! Selection may be hard but you can find some really cute cheap stuff most of the time :)

    I love TJ Maxx, have you thought of maybe a black dress with red accessories. Like a belt or scarf or red jacket It might make it easier shopping Maybe a huge chunky red necklace. Lots of luck.

    OK ladies looking for cute christmas dresses...Target.com is the best...I really couldnt find anything in the stores but online they have a ton!! I finally got one and we got our family portraits done today!! not too thrilled with them because I look like a total fatty but the dress looked cute!! LOL :)
