Thanks! I've had the surgery and I'm making sure I'm getting nutrients. I decided to keep the carbs where they are now.

I have a few problems with this keto stuff (not sure it's scientifically sound or safe, as for paleo, I love milk too much!). Though I admit I naturally prefer lower carb food anyway, I still like to get to a certain amount. However I will check out some of their recipes/food for preference sake anyway. XD Thankyou.

I love pizza too but now I have it rarely so I can have a real treat. I'm trying (it's working slowly) to eat less chocolate for similar reasons. That's one thing she and other doctors have advised me on. Lose weight, it'll help your spine (and overall health). It'll be a very slow weight loss. Half a pound a week (which is happening). So I should be ok. Thanks!

It's temporary while I have and recover from surgery. I can't really ask my doctor. We generally don't ask things like that if we're not private (I'm in the UK and they are far too busy). They have mixed views themselves and I can't afford a dietitian/nutritionist. But a lot of people talk about this stuff here on these…

It used to be the rower until my back screwed up. When I'm able to go to the gym (not at the moment), it's now the elliptical and bike followed by swimming.
