  • Hello ladies! Back in February, I posted that I would be happy to be at 135lbs - I was 157.2 at that time. Happy to say I'm now standing at around 126 lbs with only about 6 to go to reach my FINAL GOAL. You all can DO THIS!!! Good luck on your journey!!
  • I'm in Ohio....in Genoa, near Toledo! Hello everyone!
  • I also am a mother of 3 - ages 12, 10 and 6 - plus my other full time job. When it was warmer outside I was jogging 3 days a week while hubby would watch the kids. I don't have a treadmill and I have grown to dislike dvds. lol I just requested the use of my sis-in-law's treadmill 2 days a week and will continue to workout…
  • Fitness: Run my regular 2.35 mile route in less than 24 minutes. I did it today at right under 28 minutes. Body: I want to be able to wear a strapless sundress. I haven't put on a dress in 6 yrs. Even then it was forced upon me for my courthouse wedding. lol Self-Image: I would love my self-confidence back. It's…
  • Peace827, was that questions for me? My intake was always at around 1200-1275 (I'm 5' short). I switched it around every month or so to give myself a break. I'm at 1260 right now.
  • Yep. I've lost all of my weight with only spurts of exercise. My first 40 lbs were lost with ONLY watching my calories. I am now pretty much at goal and finally learning to exercise regularly in order to keep it off.
  • I could have swore I saw Kinect Games in the Exercise search recently! Check it out. It likely guesstimates pretty low (at least it did for me because I use my HRM when I play). Also, I LOVE our Kinect. When I don't feel like working out, I play Adventures or Sports with the kids.
  • http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php It lets you know how many calories for each and every single thing you can think of, pretty much. lol
  • YES! I purchased their LARGE and regular sized reusable bags and take them with me every time I go! Amazing! Sometimes I know I'm not getting enough to need the quarter to get the cart (you get it back when you're done and put the cart back) so I just put my stuff in one of my bags while I shop, unload at the…
  • FYI - I just went to ALDI today. I took two of their paper bags that I had in my trunk. Apparently they looked brand new because I checked my receipt when I left and noticed the cashier made me pay for them again!!!! haha Oh well. It was only 12 cents. Also, I almost bought clementines at Meijer for $5.99. I waited and…
  • If you were to look at my food diary, you would notice that the entire top of my Most Used list is all ALDI products! lol I LIVE there. I tend to shop at a "regular" grocery store for meats and certain dollar sales but, for the most part, I am a ALDI shopper.
  • That's a lot to deal with, bexominglex! I've been dealing with chronic "cold weather" pain almost all my life. It wears me out when it happens so I kind of get where you're coming from. I'm going to get tested for fibromyalgia, soon. Baby steps is what you have to do when it comes to your health and trying to get movement…
  • Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion (kind of odd for a zombie book but I liked it - a zombie love story lol) Anything can be Dangerous by Matt Hults (a good anthology of ick stories lol...I believe a short of Maberry's is in there which made me want to read Rot and Ruin) Feed by Mira Grant (I believe this is YA - good stuff)
  • I was thinking the same thing! lol I do like that even if I'm a couch potato I'll be good for next summer. My plan is to be the 3-5 x a week and be at goal by February!
  • Amazing everyone! What a fantastic year!! Last year I was in about a 14. I had already lost about 20 lbs by Thanksgiving last year - I started at a SNUG 18W. I'm now in a comfortable 6 and am done losing for now.
  • I started the tablets yesterday. Going to give it at least a week to see if anything changes.
  • rochey, I've been doing this over a year and I still eat this way when I'm not consciously paying attention to my food intake :ohwell: . I also eat in front of the tv....but for me it means I mindlessly eat. The chewing a lot works for me, though. I do that too.
  • Sadly, I can still eat massive amounts of food. I may feel horribly ill afterward but I don't tend to get that ill feeling until AFTER it's all been ingested. Ick. I HAVE to use portion out my food because I can't eyeball it. My eyeballs always want more.
  • I vaguely heard about this recently. I quit smoking about 2 months ago (not by choice originally but I'm gonna stick with it for now lol). Anyway, I realized recently that I've been eating non-stop, and eating stupid crap - donuts, cookies, chocolate, candy bars. I didn't realize why until it hit me that I haven't had my…
  • Oh hell, ANYTHING done on the Kinect is a workout. lol I have EA Sports Active 2 and it's good. I just got Biggest Loser...did it once. Still not sure about that one. I really want to try the dance ones - Zumba and Dance Central. They look fun.
  • I'm 5' even. When I first started here, my goal was just to hit 150. Once I hit that, I bumped it down to 140, then 130. I'm now resting at 127ish and decided I'll try for 120. I'm kinda stuck in the high 120's right now (I've lost my motivation so I'm not eating right). I know I'll get there though.
  • I don't tend to buy books (I'm a library geek), but I've purchased these and Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series when I have extra money. I have shelves specifically for these books.
  • I have a Kindle. Love it. Debating on getting my daughter the $79 one. She likes to read but hates carrying books around so she doesn't do it often. lol

  • Here's my vent. I can't stop eating!! I KNOW I'm not hungry, yet all I want to do is eat. I am THISCLOSE to hitting my final goal of 120lbs (I'm 5foot even). It's taken me over a year to get here and only NOW does it seem I can't stop the munchies. I did SO WELL all this time. Until now. I'm getting more disappointed…
  • It took about 20 or so lbs for anyone to say anything. I would go to work every day, and after about 15lbs, I'd get weird looks but that was it. After the first 20lbs, someone finally asked if I was losing weight, then complimented me.
  • I haven't read in days but what I'm in the middle of is Deadline by Mira Grant. Good Zombie book placed in the future...2040's I believe. It's the 2nd in a series. Once I'm done with that, I'll be jumping into Bloodlines by Richelle Mead!
  • Hello everyone! My name is Elvia. I'm a 33 yr old mother of three kids: daughter, Eirian (pronounced I-Ree-On), 12; Sons, Damyon (10) and Zachary (7). I also have a full time job on top of being a mother. I'm also a wife. I am trying desperately to motivate myself to work out every other day at least. It's hard. I get up…
  • Amazing job! Your doc is correct. Your waist is already so tiny you'd widdle down to nothing if you kept losing. It's all the (fabulous) booty you have that makes it seem like you're overweight. I lost my booty so I'm jealous of your curves!
  • I enjoyed that series. Haven't read the most recent one, though.

  • Absolutely!! I have The Gathering and Bloodlines waiting to be read on my Kindle right now. I'm reading Deadline by Mira Grant first.
