I mess with my calories every month or so. Keeps me on my toes :). I've never really plateaued (only been stuck at the same weight for two weeks at most then I lose again), and I think it's because of that. :) You got this!!!

I'm definitely going to have to "test" myself next time I run (tomorrow). I am also a beginner and never knew that heel first was wrong. Probably a good reason why my shins hurt?? I also need new running shoes since this is completely new for me and I didn't realize I would love it so much!

I know my HRM gives me a much lower amount of calories burned than MFP does. When I would do Tae Bo, MFP said I would burn over 500 and I only burned around 300 each time....and I know I was working hard because I was sweating like a pig. lol

Thanks! What's funny is I was in a 5-6 when I weighed 118 and got pregnant with my daughter. 12 years later and I'm almost in the same size but a little over 10 lbs heavier. Weird how the body changes throughout your life.

Absolutely!! Swimming is definitely exercise. It actually works a lot of muscles you might not use regularly otherwise...and you don't notice since you're in water! Great workout.
