  • I have my treat meal every 10 days..and it is one meal not a whole day of bad eating. I still check the nutritional value beforehand and make sure it is not something insane like nachos (1700 calories and 116g of fat!!!!!). If I am having a burger my side is a bake sweet potato or a salad and I drink water with it. I look…
  • I can't see your face but based on your body 8.5!

  • I make my own pita chips...take one pita bread and cut into 16 pieces...toss in a bog bowl with 1 tbsp calorie wise italian dressing and what ever other seasoning you love and crave ( i always add chili powder and Salt and pepper). Bake low and slow in a singe layer and turn once the first side is golden then bake until…
  • I take 2 CLA as soon as I get up in the morning and then I take Fat Fighters with Carb inhibitors after my biggest meal of the day.
  • Water and herbal tea
  • Haddock is so versatile and mild, you could do so much with it, it is a lot like chicken in that sense. I love a pinch of chili seasoning, some lime juice and fresh cilantro. Haddock tin foil pouches with salsa and black beans. If you want it to be a bit richer you could spread a Tbsp hellmans with a Tbsp parmesean mixed…
  • You are not fat, you have self esteem issues. The best thing you can do is stop criticizing yourself and start to see yourself in a more positive light. As a real "fat person" at 270lbs, people that are les than 130lbs complaining they are fat irritate the **** out of me!!
  • Why? Well because some people think they know it all... I am doing what works for me, and if that means that I have 1 coffee a day and a chocolate before bed to avoid a major bingefest than that is what I will do. I shared my diary at one point and people would say things that didn't fit in withwhat I am trying to achieve.…
  • I have a friend with similar goals...she tried Jamie Easons 12 week live fit trainer...which is free. She looks fanfreaking-tastic!
  • I always add finely minced onion, garlic, celery salt and pepper with 2 tbsp fat free miracle whip. I make my tuna melts on an original rice cake with a slice of buffalo mozzarella on top. YUM! I have also had them on the super thin multigrain bagels you can buy at the grocery store.
  • Oh man...I don't think the original poster was serious when she said her boyfriend did this to her....I think she was being humorous. Lay off....this is a support group people are here to be healthy and some of the *kitten* comments on here may make her think twice about returning to MFP!
  • In a wrap with avocado, lettuce tomato and a little honey mustard.... mmmm or make a nice salad topped with dreid cranberries, pecans and turkey.
  • Would you believe that the stuff they inject is Botox!!!???!!
  • yum!!! I was on skinnytaste.com today and found some delicious recipes!!
  • Chickpeas and nuts...I think tofu also has lots of protein. But shakes are a great alternative!! There are some great protein shakes out there!!
  • You should also be tracking your sugar intake. Too much sugar is not going to help, even if it comes from a natural source like fruit why not try one fruit for lunch with some cottage cheese or to accompany a bowl of soup? You should also aim to drink over the recommended 8 cups of water a day. Good luck!
  • The first 3 weeks are the easiest for weight to come off, it is mostly what they call "water weight". Variety is key, a variety of sensible foods and exercises. Aim to eat foods that have 1 ingredient... chicken....turkey...eggs...tomato etc. And remember sugar is enemy # 1!!!!
  • Well I thank you for your knowledge...see this is why I am here :) In my defence though, I never said to burn all of your intake off of exercise alone...I said the combination of exercise combined with your natural calorie burn. Though that information could still be false...I dunno :0/
  • I mean isn't that how weight loss works? You burn more than you take in and that is how stored fat gets burned up?? I am only saying this because it has been told to me by " fitness buffs" it could be false information. But it made complete sense to me?!
  • Wouldn't it depend on your goal? (ie. building muscle or losing weight) I am not an expert by any means ( which is why I have 95 lbs to lose)
  • I haven't had Chia seeds but I see friends eating them on yogurt and in their cereal.
  • I like to eat the skin and love the crunchy texture. I try not to cook too much in the Microwave...all that radiation scares me lol
  • I would say no. It makes no sense to me, you are burning calories which is good! You are supposed to burn more calories than you take in each day, through a combination of exercise and natural calorie burn. My advice, don't eat them! :)
  • I love the Carmen Electra strip to fitness series ( even though she irritates me with her fake sexy pout at the camera lol) It is a lot of fun to do, and helps you to feel sexy. Another really fun video is Yoga Booty Ballet - Cardio Cabaret this is by far my favorite at home work out!!!
  • Sugar is Enemy #1..... Good fats will help you burn fat!! Beyonddiet.com has a great little video that tells you what to avoid and what to embrace when trying to eat better.
