I work in a drs office and my patients and the drug reps are always saying 'u look great' and 'omg how r u doing it' or my favorite 'what are u on thats making u lose weight?!' my answer...MFP!! So i tell them about it if they want to know! One of the drs i work for said 'im going to start calling u little Jody!' LOL!!

I have almonds every night. I was doing really low carb and eating like 3 atkins bars a day which i dont think was good because i wasnt counting total carbs...only net carbs. Ya...hes a rheumatologist...so i dont really listen to him on that kind of stuff! He also says u can change from being type 2 to type 1 diabetic! Uh no...lol I tend to do alot of snacking in the evening when im trying to catch up on my cals...

I agree with this Kristen! It's kind of what I went through before...I wasn't eating enough and I was so tired when I exercised I felt soooo tired. After the 1st 2 weeks the weight loss started to stall...so I started eating less and I didn't lose any and that's where I was defeated and said screw trying to lose weight.…

1st of all yay for u on the 48# weight loss! Ok so with me being diabetic I crave sweets of any kind and I tend to start compromising with myself which is a bad sign. I have a lot of will power...its called say no in the 1st place. :-) I know over time I will get better!

Hey there! I've been type 1 diabetic for almost 12 yrs and losing weight is very hard...especially when you're diabetic. Here's my advice Use myfitnesspal to count your calories. Don't cheat. And try to exercise every day even if it's only 15 mins. Like I said it's hard, but keep with it and you will lose weight!
