STARBUCKS!!! It's my afternoon treat and I can usually keep it under 150 calories
-
I just ordered it too, looks interesting and much more doable than than P-90 X and geared more for women. Excited to get started. I was surprised that no one else had a thread here on it.

I'm in for anoher month!!

Halloween Half Marathon today at Ft. Desoto on St. Pete Beach. Beautiul morning just a little windy, Great run and fun crowd! 74.1 total miles for the month, a little short but great considering I have only been running again since August after having brain surgery in April of this year. Love to run! Congratulations to…

10 miles down this am, cooler and nice finally! Now off to Oktoberfest!

4 miles this morning in the pouring rain. It was cool but my shoes got heavy when they were soaked and hair gel dripped in my eyes. Well worth it though!

Attention girls****Has anyone heard that you get drunk faster when you're on your period? I never had but the past week, two people have told me that. It was true last night with me but I'm not sure why!! Any thoughts??? This could be a good or a bad thing!

9 miles last night after it finally stopped raining!! I think I would have skipped toay if I didn't have this goal from this post:smokin:
-
4 Miles down, tomorrow is my long run. Hope it feels as good as last weeks run. Busy week at work, it feels great to run it off!!
-
4 miles down this morning. I have been running 3 miles during the week plus a long run on the weekends. Knowing I want to hit 100 miles for Oct. has inspired me to add a mile to my week-day runs. Thanks for the challenge!!
-
Wow! What a challenge but I'm in! 8 miles down yesterday, finally a cool morning in Florida, I hope it stays this way :glasses:

If anyone listens to music while running, there's a free download that has interval training for the C25K training. It's on podrunner.com or djsteveboy.com and it's supported by Jenny Hadfield a running instructor from Chicago. I know it helps me to listen to music while I'm running and these podcasts are FREE!! HAPPY…

L1 Day 8 done. Seemed much easier tonight. Stared eating a little more, I don't think I was eating enough for the 30day shred and the running I'm doing to train for the half marathon I'm doing in Nov. Hope everyone is making good progress!
-
Thanks for all of the well-wishes. Had a vodka & grapefruit to celebrate!! Hey I fit it into my total calories!
-
This used to be my favorite thread! I haven't posted since last Oct and just found you again! Have been off of MFP, had a benign brain tumor removed in March so was out of commission for awhile (and couldn't drink  ) but now I'm back and am excited to find you again!!

Awesome!! Congratulations!! Find a good training program at least 12 wks out and stick as much as possible but also listen to your body and don't over-do it. My goal of my first marathon was just to finish it. I've done 3 fulls and numerous halfs since. Now my motto is 13.1 is "half the distance & twice the fun". Good luck…

Sounds like a new love and it can be adapted in so many ways  Just like good pizza!

Day 3 & 4 Level one completed but didn't have time to post. Not sore after but can feel the burn in my upper body during the shred. Not much change in the scale yet but tryig not to focus on it. Hope everyone had a great week!
-
Day2, Level 1: Completed :drinker: Less sore today and seemed a little bit easier, yeah! Hope everyone is making good progress.
-
I find that as long as I don't use weights that are too heavy, I can still run without a problem and it's a good balance. Good Luck!
-
Day1 Completed Had to work early so didn't get to exercise until tonight and I'm usually an early morning runner. It was kind of fun to have the Shred to look forward to tonight. Not sore yet but can feel it in my arms:bigsmile: Hope everyone is doing well and meeting goals!!
-
Starting tomorrow afternoon. Did it yesterday and am still somewhat sore. I can run all day but the strength training kills me. Thanks for the thread!!:flowerforyou: Age :48 Height: 5'8" Current Weight 180.2 Ending Weight??

I'm so in! Saturday is usually my long run day (check that off) which usually requires more water than usual (check that off too) but my problem is the alcohol during the college football games! Most of the time the food that accompanies the games isn't the healthiest either. My goal to begin with is to just be conscious…

Wow!! What an inspiring journey.

So I really didn't start out to cut out the booze but I haven't had any since Mon (Labor Day) and it's Thurs already. Maybe I'll cut it out during the week so start with. Someone told me that drinking alcohol is like putting sugar into your gas tank, maybe that's why it's been so hard for me to lose weight. Watching the…
