I think I was kinda like that in the beginning. I used to weigh 260lbs and am down to 190 now. I still have about 50lbs to go, but I think what helped me along the way was setting little mini goals like 3 and 5 lb losses. It is those little loses that add up to the big ones. Then before you even know it, you are at goal! I…

Thanks for your replies! I have been tracking the last 3 days as high impact aerobics so that covers that. I am hoping to get a HRM for Christmas so I guess for the time being I am just really watching my caloric intake and guesstimating about my workouts...

Found it too! I am kinda looking forward to tomorrows weigh in! I started Insanity this past week and wow....let me just say I think that it gives me the kind of intensity that I needed! I was stalled on my weight loss for about 3 weeks and now it seems to be starting again! YAY!!! LOL

You look great!!!! Happy Birthday to you!!!

Like you, I think I have become addicted to exercise as well. I agree with others though about listening to your body. There are some days that I just have a sense of overall tiredness...those are the days I take rest. Most of my workouts are at home as well. I have 4 kids, 3 of which are under 4. So between taking care of…

My weight usually plateaus a couple of days before...then as soon as I start, I drop about 1-2lbs in the first 2 days...I guess its not so bad...but if I don't watch the calendar, then I am usually wondering why I'm stuck.....Really throws your head for a loop sometimes....

Well, thats what I want to do (insanity alone) but I really would like to finish the shred first, just to say I did it...I guess I can wait another 10 days to start insanity....I just got a little excited when the package arrived! :)

For me, I just keep going, I believe that eventually my body will get the hint and start losing again....It's probably because I have made exercise a big part of my daily routine that I feel lost if I don't do it. I used to be hung up on numbers, but now it seems that I just know that continuing to eat healthy and exercise…

Hopefully, close to goal if not at it already by then! My whole outlook has changed, I really enjoy exercising and reaping the benefits...I could never go back to fat and flabby! I like the confidence I have in myself up to this point, it can only get better!!!

I wish I could have a cheat meal....but unfortunately I am to the point of avoiding any type of greasy fatty foods because my stomach doesn't agree with it anymore... Just one meal at McDonalds or Burger King has me stuck in bed the whole next day with gastro cramps...not something I enjoy, so I just don't bother. My cheat…

I'll be your friend!!! My hubby also says that I obsess over the whole weight loss thing too much. Its kinda nice to have this community of people with the same goals and interests!

I think you can probably handle it. I myself have my goal at 2lbs a week, but some weeks I don't always make the 2lb loss. The goal is to not let it get to you if some weeks you don't make it. Remember though, a loss is a loss is a loss. As long as the scale is moving in a downward direction there shouldn't be too much to…

I am not sure I can limit myself to only one favorite......I have so many now! But, I guess at this moment, probably my shoulders and butt! LOL

Same problem here too...usually by the middle of a workout I have to change my shoes. It usually fixes the problem :)

About 90-120 minutes 6 days a week with 1 day of rest :) I feel terrible if I miss a day though....

I'm in total agreement with that statement! Just by changing your diet you can still lose weight. Exercise is helpful in making the process faster!

For me....becoming comfortable in my relationship leading to not having a care in the world as to how I looked. I always just figured I would be big, so I didn't care what went in my mouth... Now, I can see how much confidence it has brought me just by losing that I have opted to feel this way everyday and lead a healthy…
