I'm restarting again today too. And looking for new, motivating friends. I started doing Body Beast on Saturday. And re-started the couch to 5K program last week. I've signed up for two 5k races to try and keep me moving forward. It's tough starting over but we can do it!! Add me! :)

No one here can speak for your wife but as many have already said I'd err on the side of caution here. Encourage the triathalon training idea and praise her for all the things you love about her. You catch more flies with honey and all that :) Chances are good that she already has some negative thoughts about the areas…
