  • So, I missed a few days. I am back now! Goals for 4/16/2012 1. Make better choices with my food. 2. Drink a lot of water 3. Weight lifting (last workout for stage one of New rules of lifting for women) 4. Stay off my foot as much as possible to heal.

  • Thank you so much for your help! I do not have insurance at the moment, so, seeing a Podiatrist is kind of tough. I do have a stationary bike, I am going to give that a try. Also, ice and stretches. The ball idea is great too. I will give that a try. Thank you so much!!

  • I once asked a similar question.. people looked at my diary and showed me that I was eating too many processed foods and to add more fresh fruits and veggies. Once I noticed that and admitted it, I began to cut out some of the processed and add fresh. I saw weight loss that week.
  • I think if you just keep moving, doing what you can when you can. Then start to add a little struggle into it.. make it a little harder each week or so. you will lose and it will be enough

  • My boyfriend can always tell by looking at me when it is coming.. haha. I tend to get really bloated and retain water. If I weigh myself it is usually around a 3-5 lb difference.   • I agree with everyone on here. I have an 8 and 11 year old. They usually want to eat the healthy food too but also still like their junk food.. I buy enough healthy food for them to eat too and a little less of the junk so they become the forbidden...Maybe try that

Also, I looked at my diary as well, and I did notice all of the comments you were saying were true. I will try to track better and lower my sodium. I do drink about 120 oz of water per day. Is that enough?…

  • That is an awesome way to look at it! I like to just think about today and log all my food for the day right after breakfast so that if at some point I get hungry, I know how many calories I can have at my snacks and I don't ruin it. When I go a little ove,r I decide that it is not a big deal that It is just today.. but…
