I donate a very small amount, $25 a month, to a charity called AID, and I chose my donation to go towards kids education. I donate to water.org. I would never know who is being helped with my donation, but I hope it brings help to people who need it.

I go to body pump class at the Y. I never tried 'priming' the muscles. Will give it a shot next time. Thanks for the info!

Protein shakes are the answer! After an evening workout, I make berries shake or peach mango or strawberry banana shakes with Now foods unflavoured or dutch chocolate protein. You wont bulk up unless you train with heavy weights. Dont be intimidated by the protein brands names and protein count.

I take dicyclomine 20mg, but it works great for me. Like others said, watch out for trigger foods. I too eat a lot of gas producing foods like lentils, but I'm not having trouble these days. I was diagnosed with IBS this May. I had it for almost a year before that. I can related with symptoms of other ppl in this post - terrible pain in the gut, and when its time to go, I had to go urgently. For me, lactose never triggered or increased the symptoms. So is fiber rich foods. I maintain a food diary (on MFP), but…
