Ignorant, insulting, simplistic , yah all of the above. Not impossible. It just takes longer. I know my diet hasn't been stellar. But, I do believe it's taken longer than average to get here. And no, I'm not throwing in the towel:flowerforyou: ever.

I think about the alternative. If I gave up a year and a half ago where would I be now. The same applies.
-
Yup. Pick me! Everyone has a story. Over the last 25 years I have had gains of up to 25lbs because they messed with my meds. I'm on the right track now. I've never been to an endo. But just try to change them again. That's where I'm headed.

Holy f**k! You are amazing! Be proud!
-
Welcome! You've made a good start by just logging your food. Making small changes to start will show results. Oh! And Happy Anniversary!

Ok, so I'm 47. Can I go into menopause NOW please! I understand that it doesn't go past 40!LOL,! for real?
-
You are doing great. But I've been telling you that all along :)

Interesting, after a week and a half it's all you. No friends, no support. It's all you. For me, after a YEAR and a half, it's all me and my friends that support me. Hmmmm.... Even when I have sulked in my corner, my friends have been there to support me. 55lbs. Later, I think it works.

Interesting. I did not watch the show. That being said, I lived in the same house as my dad for quite a few years. He was diabetic. We went to a seminar together. During his better days afterwards I tried not to bake etc and my kids went without homemade treats. He went out and bought crap at the store. When he was…

Just.....no.

Interesting... I have been having my own sort of pity party. I have not logged a damn thing but I've been stalking my friends. Just by being on my feed they had inspired me enough that I have decided that I'm going to do things "right" again. If they had deleted me...who knows. Also I have friends that I started with that…

You sound hungry. Are you eating enough for the effort you're putting in?
-
You exercise for the health benefits. You exercise to preserve you muscle mass. And you exercise for ice cream:laugh:
-
Aren't you just the charming ray of sunshine! Trust me, no one binges for attention. I'm 47 yrs old and I don't always know why I do it. It sure as hell not for the attention! Honey, you're here because you know it's a problem. Own it. Log it. Get counciling if you need it:flowerforyou:

Oh yah, I'm pretty sure that even if I get to a perfect size, I don't know what that is, a string bikini wouldn't hold the girls in:blushing:
-
I remember being a size 6/8 (a very long time ago) and refusing to wear a bikini because I was fat. I have lost 50lbs in the last year and a half and usually feel pretty damn good about myself. I am down to a size 10/12 and think I could rock that. At 47 years old, four kids and one c-section later it saddens me that I'm…

You've laid it all out there and seem to have got blasted. Sorry for that. I understand where you're coming from. I started this more than a year ago. It took my husband a few months to climb on board. You can't make them change but, you can lead by example. I ended up with this much to lose because I have the appetite of…

I walk in the good weather and hop on the elliptical in bad. Working my way thru' Boston Legal.

Hi! I've been in maintainance for about six months:blushing: I'm still here:flowerforyou: my dad passed away from complications to diabetes. This is not going to happen to me. Baby steps. Well get there. Friend me if you'd like:flowerforyou:

How about hunger? Holy moly! Suggesting to a new person to cut below 1200 calories! For the love of Mike ( yah, I don't know who he is) calculate your TDEE - 20%. Good luck to you!:flowerforyou:
-
Ok bumping because I feel like a thread killer lately:flowerforyou:

I give myself this little pep talk damn near everyday. The first 40lbs seemed simple. It's taken six months to ditch ten more. It would be easy to say this is good enough but that's not my plan. I am going to lose those last ten pounds of baby weight. It's only been 24 years, what's another six months:bigsmile:
-
Wow. Well put. We should all be able to do this!
-
Make changes! You don't have to exercise your @ss off. Unless you want to. Cut out pop. Drink more water. Log your calories. Take a look at your food diary after a week or two and see what you can change. Baby steps. It's not all or nothing:flowerforyou:
-
You're post saddens me. My hubby and I had a talk a while ago. I gave him *kitten* and asked him why he didn't tell me I looked like I did! I know I should have been able to see it in the mirror myself. He blankly looked at me and said, I see you the same as the day we met. Thirty years later he's a keeper. I have never…

Ahhh....! You're such a cutie! But you're right! We all rock:flowerforyou:

When your hungry? I get up at 6am. If you told me to eat then, I would strike you dead ( lol). I have coffee, go for a walk, have another coffee, shower and then MAYBE have breakfast if ny tummy is screaming at me. I am not a morning person. Usually I save those extra calories for a bed night snack :)
