Apparently Halo Top is coming to the UK in January - I'm so excited! Any tips on flavours?? :)

My gym does Les Mills virtual classes which I assume is the same thing - they're basically exercise DVDs but on a screen in a big empty room! I've tried a few combat and sh'bam classes and really enjoy them :)

I only went one time and thought it was an amazing but reasonably low calorie meal...then I checked the calories online and nearly had a heart attack! Such a shame, I've never been back :(

I'm currently eating overnight oats! I mix together the following in a tub, put the lid on and put it in the fridge overnight then stir and eat. It's absolutely delicious! - 23g porridge oats - 6g chia seeds - 20g blueberry jam (raspberry also works) - 1 tbsp syrup - 60g greek yoghurt - 80ml milk (I use soy but any is…

I'm pretty sure porridge is just what we in the UK call oatmeal! That's always been my understanding anyway - hot oats made with water or milk...

We're only a couple of miles away so it's far too tempting!

Near Cribbs Causeway! :)

I set it all up when I got the watch - I think it involves setting up the MFP app to be linked with the apple health app, and then the health app syncs with your watch activity app!
-
Mine actually pulls in all of the exercises from my watch automatically - it just then does an adjustment if it disagrees with them!

I did my first chia pudding this morning (well I mixed it last night but ate it for breakfast). I doubled up on a recipe as I wanted a nice big portion - it came to 280 calories in total and was gorgeous and really filling. I've just made the next one for tomorrow. You just whisk together 31g chia seeds, 180ml unsweetened…

I absolutely love chocolate and have found the best thing for me is to incorporate it throughout my day. For breakfast I have a chocolate chia seed pudding (chia seeds, soy milk, cocoa, cinnamon, sweetener - whisked together and left in the fridge overnight), I have a chocolate and banana protein shake as part of my lunch…

I really like the pancake syrup and fruity salad dressing :)
-
I love most of these - sweet potatoes, black bean brownies and even the dreaded mug cakes - at least the protein powder version! The only thing I've tried and hated was the cauliflower pizza crust, except I used broccoli as I really dislike cauliflower...the combination of far too much cheese and broccoli made me…

My heart rate monitor is normally around 1/3 of the figures which the machines say - which is quite scary considering I could have trusted them if I didn't know better!
-
Thank you all!

I just ate porridge (oatmeal) made with water, with some crushed walnuts, walden farms pancake syrup and ground cinnamon stirred through. It's really filling, low calorie (c250) and tastes amazing!

1300 is the amount of calories that you should consume each day PLUS any which you have burnt through extra exercise. For example, if you burn 300 calories from running, you should eat 1600 calories that day (but be careful to measure and log everything so you know you're not accidentally having more than this) so that you…

I really like the weightwatchers frozen meals - particularly the ravioli, chicken pasta bake and lasagne. However, they're only good if you cook them for at least an hour - the instructions say 40mins but then the sauce is really thin and watery! They're all about 260 calories so are great with salad and I tend to follow…

I'm with moveGB - I think it's UK wide but am not certain so have a look and see if it's in your area! Basically you pay them a weekly fee (there are various options including £7.99 per week which gets you 3 gym sessions or £9.99 per week which is unlimited sessions) and you can cancel at any time and they just take no…

Haha I was reading through all of these thinking about how much I hate chocolate and mint together (despite them both being great individually) but apparently others are in agreement! Also pineapple with anything savoury (particularly pizza but also gammon etc) and another vote for sweet and sour. Ugh!

I live in England but go to Texas regularly (and am very excited about going there for 3 months in early 2017, yay!) Biscuits and gravy was one of my favourite discoveries, probably only paralleled by kolaches! Ironically, linked back to the title of the thread, I tend to put on around a stone whenever I visit...and I…

I made two these for lunch today - I used giant silicone cupcake cases and put one egg, one tablespoon milk, half a chopped up frankfurter, sweetcorn, onion and garlic powders and black pepper in each and beat them together. I then cooked them for 13 mins in my airfryer and ate them with tomato ketchup - they were…

I have it either for breakfast or as part of my lunch (with egg on toast or something similar) and absolutely love it. It's the best flavour shake I've found (I have either chocolate, banana caramel or a scoop of each) and it's the only shake that I've found which turns into a thick, creamy milkshake when you blend it with…

I'd probably guess more to be honest. I have the 10 inch one with tomato instead of BBQ and an extra portion of chicken instead of the bacon and I go with about 1000 - I'd imagine it would be more than 400 extra considering the size and ingredient difference!

I replace half my lunch with a protein shake, but one that's designed to be a meal replacement shake. It's the USN diet fuel - I have 2 scoops of chocolate or banana caramel (200 calories, 24g protein) blended with ice and water, which makes an incredibly thick, creamy milkshake. I have this along with a boiled egg on…
-
I absolutely love USN diet fuel - I'm actually drinking one now (one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of banana caramel - yum!). However, I don't use it as a meal replacement - I have a protein shake as part of my lunch each day. I hugely recommend blending the powder with ice and water - it goes really thick and creamy…

I'm naturally pear shaped too - bony on top but still with chunky thighs. I'm focusing on lifting weights now, in an attempt to build some muscle and start to even myself out. Fingers crossed this is the right approach!

That sounds lovely - thanks! Will have to give it a go :)

I've only had butternut squash in soups but it sounds lovely roasted. How long do you cook it for, and do you literally have it on it's own as a meal (i.e. with chicken broth/lentil sauce poured over it?) And what is lentil sauce?? Thanks :)
