Calorie estimate of menu item

Hi all,
I know it's impossible to be sure of calories but I want to at least attempt to log the food I'm planning on having for lunch - I'd prefer to overestimate than underestimate.
The menu description is as follows:
eggs baked in a rich tomato sauce w. spinach, avocado, garlic & onion + grilled ciabatta
What would you go for as a ballpark figure?
Thank you in advance!

I would name that sandwich, put everything in the recipe builder and let MFP do the estimation for me.0

Look at your plate. How many eggs? What size bread? How much avocado? It's probably a 800ish calories dish, depending on the size.
It's one of those dishes where I'd just add everything in my head and do quick calories.0 -

Yep. Sounds like 800-1,000 to me. I always try to guess high.0 -
I'd put it in the recipe builder.0

Depends on amounts. Avocado, eggs and bread will be the most calories.
Probably 100-200 for bread, about 70 per egg, 1 avocado could be about 200-300 calories
Tomato sauce could be 50 calories for around 1 c
Maybe 20-50 calories for the spinach, onion and garlic
Any oil or butter? Add 100 or so calories for that.
So it could be between 700-900 calories.0 -
Thank you all!0
