  • Chiropractor.........................:-)
  • Red Rose on my right scapula. I love it!
  • I love: 1) Zumba 2) BodyPump 3) Tae Bo 4) Bike riding I'm starting to take up running, but I'm not sure I like it or not. Even with doing Zumba and Tae Bo, I am getting winded.
  • You did a GREAT job!! Thanks for letting us know you plateaued for a long time. I have gained back 5 lbs and haven't been able to lose it. I am doing a better jos of using MFP and analyzing what I am eating. Keep up the GREAT work!!!!
  • My heart goes out to all of you. Losing someone is always difficult. I have lost two babies through miscarriages and I think about them often even though they have been gone awhile. Gerilyn would have been 14 yo this past February and Victoria would have been 10 yo in February also. January 2, 2012 I lost my Daddy. He…
  • I am looking forward to having cut arms and being able to see my clavicles!! Looking forward to not having a stomach but will need a tummy tuck to help out. Had a C-section with having my 13 yo and no matter how small I get, that stomach skin just won't go back to what it was prior to the surgery.
  • WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I've been told I look like Madeline Kahn or Bette Midler. Mainly Madeline when I'm thin and Bette when I'm heavier. Madeline had a long type face with a pointy chin (whick I do have LOL) Bette's face is more rounder (since I have been losing weight my face is less round)
  • OK That's it!!! I WILL take progress pics! You look AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have inspired me to take pics of myself so I can chart the progress. I am at a plateau right now and it's discouraging, BUT I'll keep up my workouts and MFP. Thanks so much for posting your pics, it has helped me out a great deal!
  • I look up to Tosca Reno. She is the author of "The Eat Clean Diet" and looks amazing. She didn't start getting her body in shape until she was in her 40's and now enters in body building contests (she is my age). I am 53 yo and hopefully can get to a point where I have muscle definition.
  • I am hour glass shaped and lost a little bit all over so far. Just wish the upper half would go down faster LOL. My waist accentuates the 'girls' which don't need any more attention. Thank you Mom for your prayers for my being built like you instead of Dad's side of the family! Prayer DOES work!
  • AWESOME!!!!! I am SO proud of you!!!!!! You will reach your goal before you know it!
  • What makes me feel old is my niece will turn 30 yo this month as well as she will celebrate her 4th wedding anniversary. Plus my 13 yo is taller than I am even when I'm wearing high heels.
  • Seeing pics of me..................plus being winded just going up stairs, are a couple of the things that made me have that ahah moment. Plus I promised my dying Daddy that I would take care of my weight (he just died 01/02/12) and I don't break my promises to my Daddy.
  • Walking and bike riding this AM.
  • Welcome to MFP! Sometimes people reach a plateau and either need to change the eating or the exercising. What keeps me going is looking at the small changes in my body. I've got 75 more lbs to go and I don't see big changes in the areas I would like to (yet!) but I was able to wear an ankle braclet that I haven't been able…
  • I have a metal plate in my right arm and I broke my neck in three different places when I was 16. Yes I can walk and no I do not set off the metal detectors (darn!)
  • When I reach my goal weight I will get an evening gown, one that is either off the shoulder (to show off my tatoo and my 'guns') or that is totally off of the shoulders. Where would I wear it? Don't know but that's one of the things I want!
  • I am 5'1" and a small frame so I am going for 105 lbs. That's what I weighed in my mid 20s and felt great!
  • I agree with jmoneycgt. It's great to change the workouts up to keep interest as well as to change which muscles you use. I am doing Zumba, BodyPump, Tae Bo and biking. I love being able to do a variety of exercises, keeps the mind going too!
  • My body because I love Zumba & Tae Bo. Also free weights because I love BodyPump.
  • I know I'm a Mom when 1) I come home from work and my two youngest sons greet me with a hug 2) When my 23 yo son, who towers over me, bends over to give me a hug 3) When my boys tell me they love me 4) When I look at them and think "These wonderful kids came out of me!" 5) When I'm sad and they console me 6) When I receive…
  • Welcome! This is a wonderful group and I know you'll find encouragment here. Just keep moving and doing things toward the goal of losing weight and getting in shape and you'll get there!
  • Rock Island, IL
  • That's great jaeone! Congrats on reaching your goal weight. The scale can be deceptive, if you have a salty meal, the water weight packs on. I know when I have pizza, I'm 3-5 lbs heavier the next day. I'm 53 yo and am finally getting serious about my weight. I've lost about 17 lbs (some before MFP) and have about 79 more…
  • This may sound weird but I have used a lumbar support and placed that above my breasts in order to hold them down. Just make sure the lumbar support isn't too tight so you can still breathe while jogging.

  • I'm 5'1" and my goal weight is 105 lbs. That is what I weighed up until my mid 20s so I think that is doable. I have a small frame.
