i am using MFP as a diary only. i have set my calorie allowance manually. i am using 200 calories for my milk allowance so have set MFP at 1000 calories for the next 2 weeks (1000 + 200 milk = 1200) i am going to change this in week 3-4 of my diet to 1200 + 200 milk allowance. i like MFP for the diary purpose as I hate…

i am only doing 1200 calories for 2 weeks then 1400 calories week 3 and 4 and from week 5 it will be 1450 approx. doing this stops your metabolism slowing down. i defo would not follow 1200 for more than 2 weeks. xx

with solo slim you get soups for lunch and ready meals for dinner. you just add veg etc, your breakfast and a milk allowance. I'm on 1200 cals for 1st 2 weeks then 1400 cals 3rd and 4th week. everything has to be under 5% fat so the ready made stuff takes away the hassle out of cooking!! plus they are very tasty like…

olive oil and balsamic vinegar is 70 Kcal per tablespoon. where did you see the 350kcal dressings? that's very high? perhaps that was for the whole salad?

cool. my daily walking usually gives me an extra 300 calories so if it stops at 1200 i should be ok! well done on your 23lb loss. i'm loving this site!

I'm sure MFP only states a 1200 calorie diet if it's a short term goal you've entered? (e.g. half stone rather than 4 stones)

I am 5ft 1in current SW 177.5lb last Wednesday. My calorie allowance is 1320 based on this. I walk at a moderate pace for no more than 30 minutes daily. (Partly up very steep hill!) I havn't bothered eating up the extra calories as the excercise isn't that difficult. This morning i had lost 3lb so my CW is 174.5lb I think…
