I used to get hit on by a gym employee when I was in college. We actually were close to dating each other, but I was too shy and too young for him, IMO. He was 25, and I was barely 19..lol...I have a crush on this gym employee at my Golds. He has a GF though..sigh..lol..Something about those gym employees.

I am def a homebody, but I actually wanted to do something tonight..lol..oh well! I usually go "out" every 3 months or so. It takes so much energy for me to do it...sigh.

Yeah, I doubt the trainer is getting all the money. At my gym I go to they even work at the desk at times when they are not training. I paid 40 dollars for a hour session to my trainer for a few months until January. He always talked about how he was happy to have 3 1-hour sessions in a row. Always alluding to the money.

Great job! You look like a totally different person and def younger!

I learned how to make coffee in a coffeemaker (seriously), so now I can save my money.

Abuse? That sounds extreme. There are many reasons why some children are obese/overweight. I was overweight as a kid since age 9-10. My mom was a single parent, and we barely had money. Plus, I was not very active since it was difficult for me to play or do sports since my mom couldn't pick me up from school activities…

I can't eat and then go workout unless there is like 3 hours gap in between. I would get so sick, and it really can make you throw up especially if your body is actively digesting the food. I actually prefer to work out in the AM with an empty stomach.

I go to the public market to buy fruits, and its generally cheaper than the grocery store. As for other groceries, well its difficult..I spend nearly 200 dollars on food a month. The food I eat is never on sale or is generally expensive like chicken breast, salmon, turkey burgers. Generally I try to not eat out especially…

I wear a size 11...Sucks right? I usually shop online for shoes, and sometimes I can find something in a dept store..Sigh

I tend to lose in my face then downwards.

You look great. You should be so proud of yourself..

Be careful with cheating at restaurants. I used to go to Applebees a lot and have their spinach dip. It has so many calories..almost 1,000 plus a main meal. That is nearly a days worth of calories for me not including other meals during the day.

I just finished week 2 today-or that is my plan as of right now. Def tough. I don't want to get totally used to it, since I plan to use it with no more trouble zones later this month.

lol..I pause it after every move. So I do the plank jacks then pause it..mountaineer climbers ..then pause..etc...lol..Like where in the hell did she get that?

I have heard nothing but positives about NMTZ on here and on amazon.I plan to do it after I finish Ripped in 30 in a few weeks.

I work as a RN and Nurse Practitioner hence the username. :)

Awww Congrats! I can't wait until I get there. I am at 204 right now. I plateaued big time the past 7 months and finally started losing again with Ripped in 30. I am sure I will have the same reaction. Good Job!

I always thought I would be married in my late 20s ...27-29 and then have my first child soon after. I hope it happens :)

When I see 30 year olds looking 40 all I can think about is the tanning they did. Lets not even start talking about the wrinkles and CANCER..Just don't do it..Not worth it long term, IMO!

I used to be a member, but I left for Golds Gym. Its a nice gym, but it doesn't offer any classes or personal trainers. You get what you pay for though.

Or you can make it up another day, but that is a tricky thing to do..lol..If I know I am going out to eat for dinner or plan to "cheat", I either eat lighter or workout harder during the day.

Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 is a similar workout. I haven't done the Shred, but many people said Ripped is tougher. I am doing Ripped in 30 now, and it is a tough workout. I lost 4 lbs already. It took me 4 months to lose 5 lbs previously.

Am I the only one who struggle to complete the plank jacks/mountain climber circuit. The cardio is def better in week 2 in comparison to week one. I like the strength in week 1 better though. I have lost 4 solid pounds since Is started it. Best investment I made this year.

I have the same "problem" which is actually a good one sometimes. Like you, my highest weight was 240. It really sneaked up on me though. I am also the same height. People think I am "skinny" at 204. I think 180 is going to be my cut-off especially if I tone up pretty nicely. Hopefully I reach it this year. "Cross my…

I usually buy new clothes during change of season. Obviously I will pick up stuff here and there but nothing major. I am doing ripped in 30 now, so I am hoping to get some results before I buy new clothes. I teetering towards a size 12. I prob won't be there completely until summer, but I am looking forward to it. I…

NO NO NO!!! I am an introvert to the core, and I hate when people try to smother me. That is why I am only compatible with other introverts because I need a lot of alone time, quietness and personal space. I seriously don't need to see my SO, family, or most people every day to function.

To the OP, I do cardio prior to Ripped in 30 every time, and I lost about 3.5- 4 lbs already in 3 weeks. I just started Level 2 on Friday.
-
I honestly struggled with this level..I liked it a lot too. Lost 2 lbs doing it. I am on Level 2 now..oh goodness. I can not finish the plank jacks/mountain climbers if my life depended on it. I am def happy I got the DVD though. I have lost about 4 lbs since I started it, and I am still not done with level 2 yet.

I spend close to 200 dollars on food for myself a month..seriously..I sometimes have left overs, but at the end of the month I need to restock. The food I need to eat is so expensive. 9 dollars for a bag of salmon. 7 dollars for a bag of chicken. Lifestyle changes are expensive.
