This is what I've heard too. Keep running and watching what you eat and your portions. Since you like running, try increasing your pace for a more intense workout, but I really think 3 miles per day is awesome and you should see results if you continue being careful with the foods you eat, and the quantity. I like to set…

Thanks very much for all your suggestions! I'll try them!

I would suggest doing several things...It's been working for me: I prepare my workout clothes, shoes, gym bag, etc, the night before. I make sure I go to bed no later than 10pm to be able to sleep enough hours and wake up early. I set my alarm and place my phone a little far away from my bed, so that I have to get out of…

This is me, but happens after work when I want to wind down and when working from home. Tomorrow I am working from home! :( What I am actually doing is going to bed early, brushing my teeth immediately after dinner and allocating time to read in bed. It is working. My mind gets distracted after reading. Also I just have…

I also gave up sweets! I started yesterday and today at work everyone is sharing candy or chocolate among coworkers for valentine's day...I am not touching any! Count me in!

I feel exactly the same way and you might be right about the body having to work harder on those days to burn fat.

Thank you!

These are all great ideas. Thanks so much for your suggestions! I do need to get food that I can bring to the office and either keep in the fridge or in the cabinet. Sometimes while I am at work and it gets busy, it is hard to eat something too elaborated as a snack.

Thanks MrM27! I was about to mention that I just starting eating Oikos Greek Organic Yogurt ( 0 fat) and it has 12 gr of protein and it is delicious. Adding the flax oil is a great idea. What is "ON protein"? sorry for my ignorance!

I understand exactly how you feel. It is very frustrating not to see a change and as everyone is saying here it is because there is not that much weight to lose in the first place. I think we need to to be patient and don't give up with our ultimate goal. Perseverance!

You mentioned that being healthy is a lifestyle for you. It involves goals in life, beliefs, health, your future kids and how you want to raise them, etc...I know you are not a mom, I am not either, but I do think of my health and how that would be very important when I have kids in the future. To me it looks like you have…

Unfortunately I don't. Sorry about that. I found it in the Internet. But you can probably add every ingredient since there are no sauces and it should be accurate.

I agree with you. The first time I counted those extra cherries I ate after dinner I realized they added a lot of calories and carbs, so now I log everything to make sure I am not overeating.

Great post! I agree completely.

I am just testing the posting of a picture.

I am getting married in November too!! I know exactly how you feel!....wedding dress fitting in two weeks!

Sign me in! I've been trying to reduce 1 waist size and I think this group will motivate me even more! I have a gym membership and I plan to do strength training 3 times a week and run 2-3 miles on the other days. Rest on Sundays. Thanks!

Thanks so much for this post! I was wondering the exact same thing since I noticed that I go over my daily sugar goal every day. Just 0.5 cup of blueberries has around 7g of sugar. So I def. need to limit the fruits I eat during the day, and the ones I eat as a snack after dinner.

I like this challenge! I am a LNS sometimes and I hate it, it only makes me feel bad afterwards. I start tonight, and my cut-off time will be: 9pm. Thanks! and good luck for everyone!

Great topic! Thanks for sharing! I have been able to reduce a little bit of belly fat and I have been only focusing on cardio, which is mainly spinning 2-3 times a week and some other days I do 30 minutes in the elliptical. I have been doing this for 4 months and it is taking forever to see a six pack. I do eat healthy, I…

I recommend Dymatize French Vanilla flavor (Whey and Casein). I have tried other protein powders and I am coming back to Dymatize. It is delicious. I like to have it for breakfast. Here is one recipe I like: 1 cup skim milk, 1/2 cup spinach, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 2 tablesppons of low fat vanilla yogurt, and 2…

I am in too! :) CW: 93.3 GW:92 Cwaist: 25 Gwaist: 24 I want to loose body fat on my belly so my goal is to reduce at least one inch of waist by the end of May and look great on a new dress I'll be wearing by that time. My difficulty is that I can only do cardio like spinning/elliptical/walking because of a rib fracture, so…

All right!! Thanks for sharing all that information and the link too. I have to eat right!! Thanks!

Thanks for replying. I have the problem right now that I cannot do strength training yet. I am recovering from a rib injury. I have to stick for now to controlling my intake of food. I wish I could do abs!! Thanks for sharing the information of the DVD though.
