  • I LOVE: Popcorn (Favorite at the moment is Trader Joe's Herb Popcorn... holy moly, that stuff is good...) FiberOne Bars (Fav is Chocolate Pretzel) Sweet Mini Bell Peppers (I get em' at Costco... I can eat them like carrots) SugarFree Chocolate & Vanilla swirl pudding cups (60 cal - and worth it!) MMMmmMMmmMMm.....…
  • Hmm... so they say that 1 lb comes to 3,500 calories, right? So, in theory - if you wanted to burn/get rid of (not counting eating at a deficit, here) 1.5 lbs a week... if you plan on working out, say, 6 days a week... you would want to burn 875 a day... Which sounds like an aweful lot to me... daily, anyways... sure…
  • Totally! I'm there with ya. A few months ago - I would never put them in the dryer... my thinking was "Heck, I may not get in them again if I do!"... And now? I stick em in there no problemo. In fact, it helps shrink them up to fit me better :) I agree - totally awesome feeling :)
  • Hello there. I wish I had some additional tips that I could throw in here - but instead, I actaully learned something from this thread. When I come home from a 10 hour day - and complain that I don't have the energy to do any of my DVD workouts or hit my exercise bike for 30 minutes. I will remember this thread - and I…
  • Exellent Idea. I think I'm gonna do just that. I hit that scale way too much... I get really excited when it goes down - but equally disapointed when it goes up - even if it's by a tiny bit. I've just gotta hit it hard and strong for the next few weeks and shock my system. You guys all have really good suggestions :)
  • Yeah, I was thinkin it may be a part "need a healthier diet" part "crank up your exercise routine" issue. Since on MFP - my portions are a LOT better... but going thru my diary - I see a lot of periodic crap I probably am not doing much good for my body by eating. And I have a major sodium addiction. But yeah, you're…
  • Yeah - I was thinkin the stinkin sodium may be a factor. I truely appreciate the comments/advise guys ;). Any tips for how to get into HIIT? Where's a good place to start researching a decent beginners routine?
  • Ah, very interesting. Never thought of that. It just kind of happens naturally... I never thought of intentionally cycling it.
  • Funny - same solution from my husband.
  • Ah, man. I have the exact same problem. If i'm not constantly watching it - it goes through the roof! I'm bumpin this one for some super-awesome responses as well :)
  • Holy crap, that looks good. I LOVE sugar free pudding w/ the suger free coolwhip. A serving of the two together is usually under 100 calories. MMMmmm.....
  • He could have been a millionaire. You ever seen that show where the millionaire dresses like a homeless guy and lives on the backs of trains for 2 weeks outta the year to "feel the free life"? Ask him next time you see him.
  • There's been a lot of other posts on this... if you don't get some good feedback - do a search on the forums for HRM... From what I recall; a lot of ppl use the Polar HRM's. I've got a Polar FT-4, I believe... and I use it to track calories burned and the time I've worked out. It's nice; it's basic. No fancy bells &…

  • Damn. When yer right; yer right. I tend to reserve it in my vocabulary - but she's got a point.
  • Fat. Doesn't bother me so much. Unless its directed at ME. Then - I have a problem. But you know what word really grosses me out? Erogenous. It sounds old; and dirty.
  • Baaaahhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ah man... I totally had popcorn today. but I eat popcorn a LOT. That's probably part of why I'm here... amongst other things that I used to sit and eat A LOT of.

  • <has a DEEEEEEEESK JOB. I work in Financial Aid at a College. **Go Education!**
  • I'm the healthy eater of our family - so I tend to make a lot of single portions... especially for lunches that I take with me to work. I LOVE the meats that you can buy at Costco/Sams Club that are vacumed in the single serving containers... Salmon... chicken breast... I use a LOT of those. Paired up with either fresh…
  • Welcome!!!!! I, too, have no gallbladder... Took it out earlier this year. Said I would be: **and I QUOTE** "Up and eating cheeseburgers within just a few days". Yeah, no... not so much. Greasy foods bother the crap outta me. In fact, it took me about 2 weeks to feel even somewhat normal... the gas that they use to pump…
  • I'm suprised you are still alive. 388 cal a day? I think this is a spam post.
  • I like to peruse through people's diaries randomly. So I appreciate when someone has it open. That's the only reason I really keep mine open - cuz I like to look at others; so I might as well offer the same. I'm never on the lookout to criticize anyone - it's not my business what anyone else eats... But it is nice to sneak…

  • Same here. It's 3:02pm at my desk in my office - and I've already hit the FiberOne brownie I had in my lunchpail. I, too, would like to know what others do in situations like this. Any heallthy options besides straight fruit?
  • I love to sleep - and I'm not worth ANYTHING past 9-ish at night. But what has worked the best for me is to get up an hour early and go out and walk/jog w/ my dog. My motivation is that I can actaully stick to it; because I've made it such a habit for the two of us. That, and that he has Addison's disease and absolutely…
  • What I've been doing is I'll hit the C25K Mon, Wed & Fri mornings. I get up early all week long and walk my dog for about 45-55 minutes regardless of if I'm doing C25K or not; so on my Tues & Thurs. mornings I go down a couple weeks and re-do a prior week's C25K schedule. Like week 1 or 2. So we go from jogging and walking…
  • Before i bout my HRM - I just used that "Zumba calories burned" calculator that's online... somewhere... But my personal opinion is that a HRM is going to give you a more accurate reading of how hard you're actually working. That's how I know I push harder at the in-person classes vs. doing the Wii Zumba. I know a lot of…
  • I'm going super slow at it. Which may not be the *recommended* way of doing it, but I've repeated nearly all the weeks I've done. Sometimes repeated more than once or twice. I've never jogged before in my life - and my breathing gets really quick and pant-like/eratic if I push past a certain point. So I say - repeat the…
